    Thinking green, for me, means finding a balance and not arguing with the rules of nature.
    The main idea is that every tree has a purpose in our ecosystem and should be appreciated. When I look at the tree, I see a healthy green oxygen producer with branches teeming with chirping birds. I don't regard this living tree as profitable for me. It serves a larger purpose.
    We began this local sustainability project 7 years ago to help nature, clean up and socialise the local neighbourhood, and transform damaged, fallen, and unhealthy trees into craft materials that might provide income to the local community and artists around the UK.
    Because this project is centered around proximity, we collaborate with the local council to begin with the environment closest to us. We utilise wood from our doorstep to prevent trees from burning and to save driving to pick up wood from further away, decreasing our CO2 footprint. Not only that, but it is also very much about the locals.
