This smart watch was rooted. While the basic functions work fine, Google Pay will not work as it employs the highest level of security for financial transactions. I bought this product specifically because I use my watch to pay for things, and now, I may have to go back to my 4-year-old watch and just keep this as an emergency backup. I realize that the seller was probably not the original owner and did not test this beyond powering it on. Hopefully, I can find a genuine image and flash it.

The watch would not turn on when it first arrived. I opened the battery compartment and saw that the battery had been inserted upside down, so I flipped it to the right side but still no dice. I ultimately had to buy a new battery to replace the one that came with the watch, but once I inserted the replacement battery everything worked great!
