Worth the Purchase for a Safer View
I waited until I did a 3000 mile trip with an over sized trailer before I posted this review. I installed the mirrors on a 2002 Silverado 2500HD 4x4 extended cab sort bed. I tow all kinds of trailers, but the widest is my 8.5 ft wide cargo trailer. Long story short, I am very happy with these mirrors! They installed easily enough. I spent more time getting the paneling off of the truck than actually installing the mirrors or connecting the wiring. All wire connections for the turn signals were easily accessed (after watching an unrelated YouTube video). I attached the clearance lights to the reverse lights wire that was also located under the dash. During my travels I did not experience any vibrations until I hit a section of road where I was traveling with the trailer at around ... During my travels I did not experience any vibrations until I hit a section of road where I was traveling with the trailer at around 65-70 mph ( I know - too fast...) and had a 20+ mph headwind. Even then, the mirror vibrations were minimal and did not affect my views. The large convex mirror is wonderful! My truck did not come with the heated mirror option, however there are a couple ways around this. You could add a separate switch to a 12v source. Or do like I did. I picked up a climate control for my year truck that had the Rear Defroster button option on the bottom right of the control. Believe it or not, it worked! Even though the original climate control did not have the defrost button, the truck is actually already wired for the defrost. Change out the climate control and you should get heated mirrors! I do have three areas of concerns with the mirrors. 1. The mirrors do not fold completely back for running the truck through a car wash, though they do fold back to a point and are fairly well protected. 2. The "stop positions" for the fold back and use positions on the mirror could be better. They are a bit weak and feel as if they could strip out at any point allowing the mirror assembly to float around. 3. The power mirror adjustment coverage is a bit limited. It works, but I would have preferred a bit more movement area from the motors. Either way I am very happy with these mirrors! Sorry about the dirty truck. It's been raining and I didn't feel like washing it before taking the photos...

Good value
Shipping only took 3 business days. They arrived a day early! The mirrors were easy to install and the wiring diagram was easy to follow. Additional information can easily be found on YouTube to aid with the install. These mirrors look great and the LEDs are bright! Will likely update review once some time has passed.

Fine at first, then turn into garbage...
I've had these mirrors installed for roughly 13 months. They seemed great for the first 6-8 months. At that point the turn signals would "flicker" from time to time when activated. After 12 months of installation, the drivers side turn signal does not work at all. There is power being received to the LED's. however they are not activating. therefore, it is obvious that the LED's have gone bad. The passengers side turn signal LED's (mirror side arrow) have come unattached to the back side of the mirror. When the passengers side turn signal is activated you can see the flashing from behind the mirror, but it is no longer flashing through the arrow. ALSO, there is terrible moisture in the front facing signal lenses. Long story short, they seem decent until they actually get some usage, then ... Not wired for adjustments to work on door switch.
The only problem we found with installation of these mirrors is that the wiring needed to make them move with the switch inside the truck was not included. So we have to move them by hand.. Not what you really want to do when your driving or it’s raining..
