It's a cosmetic rail. Not safe for load carrying. Extremely poor design.
The roof rails are not functional. The bolts are too long and they bottom out before making contact to the rails. That's why many reviews mentioned that the bolt get stripped before tightening. I've tried shortening two bolts but when they do make contact with the rail, they're pushing down only the plastic, not the metal bracket, and there's a gap between them. The cross bar will be connected to the metal bracket, and the metal bracket is suspended between plastics sort of in mid air. Furthermore, when I used the shortened bolts to tighten the rail, it press down on the plastic and created an arch in the rails, and a gap between the car roof and the rails. Of course water would leak in. I've tried using spring washers but it'll make the bolts too tall and the covers won't fit on the ... The roof rails are not functional. I've tried using epoxy to simulate washers but they won't stick because the bolted surface is a slot. It created a dilemma, either not tighten the rail, just let it float on the roof, or shorten the bolts to actually tighten the plastic rail, but make a wavey rail, and big gaps at the roof. Even so, it does not look like the rails will be able to support real loads, because the bolts are pushing down on the plastic, and the plastic parts are somehow pushing down the metal bracket. The brackets are not directly bolted down onto the roof, the cross bars will it be directly bolted down to the roof. It is dangerous to put any load on it. As a result, the rails are not safe to use. My recommendation is that if you plan to put any loads on the roof, get the proper OEM rails. It's more expensive, but it's better than having the roof rack fly off in the middle of the highway.

Decent quality at decent price, highly recommended
Honestly this product is decent in quality and price. Physical specs fit exactly to Honda original cross bars. Installation is breeze if you have good hands. . The Chinese installation guide is not 100% accurate, i.e. there are only 2 types of bolts instead of 4. Instruction of cutting the weather strip is incorrect (I do read Chinese) and almost impossible to do even if you understand Chinese. Better way is to cut off the weather strip completely but leave about 2 inches under the rail at the front. Thus the rail covers the strip and roof slot. At the rear end, the weather strip has a separate piece that fits exactly under the rail but sits on the roof slot. I have been using it under extreme cold around -25C and so far so good. There is one minor issue, finishing around bolt ... Honestly this product is decent in quality and price. Physical specs fit exactly to Honda original cross bars. I’m dissatisfied
They were a week late, even after I emailed them asking for my order and the it was shipped to me. It’s not good quality when you look closely at them.
