    CoolPix S70

    Resultant photos are seldom sharp - even at higher resolution settings. Capture delay can frequently result in blurred pictures, ie pet photography. Focus selection area can be uncontrollable or inaccurate. Turn-on default settings sometimes frustrating, necessitating much menu hopping. Would I buy it knowing these things? Probably NOT. Why did I buy it? Large monitor size. Overall I cannot recommend this camera.

    nice camera with many convenient features

    I want to buy a digital camera. Good resolution. Its a little bit slow between each photo. Its easy to use and offer many options to play with. I recommend positively this camera. I pay a good price for the camera considering the many features it has.

    Nikon Coolpix S70 12.1 Megapixel

    The Nikon Coolpix S70 12.1 Megapixel is an excellent camera. I have gone through a bunch of camera's including canon pro shot and sony cyber shot. I also had the nikon s60 which is the older model which I really liked. So when the new model s70 came out I couldn't wait. It is the better updated verison of it. The front is sleek, thin, light weight, has a huge touch screen which is very responsive to touch, takes good pictures, has great slide review option, etc.. The only thing they could make better is the touch zoom, you really can't zoom it to where you want it. it zooms too much or too little, maybe zoom should not be touch screen.. aside from that you can point and touch the screen and it takes the picture it also has many differernt scenes you can pick from if you don't want to use ...

    Great deal!! Brings new technology together.

    Not only a real touch screen, all controls are through the touch screen. Taking the picture is optionally either a button or just touch the screen! Smooth surface, easy to carry in a pocket. Also great video. Just use a big (8g or so) sdhc card and you can shoot video. Great for spur-of-the-moment vids of the kids,pets, those "I gotta send this to the TV network" shots. Don't rely on your little cell phone camera any more. 12.1 megapixels instead of 2. Face recognition, follows faces if they are moving, prevents most red-eye and you can fix the rest in the camera. your women friends and relatives will appreciate the soft skin feature. Try it, you'll like it!

    Wonderful camera

    The camera is vary clear and takes great pictures. Well worth the investment. It has a huge display screen that is great for previewing pictures. Ont he other hand, this camera seems to make a loud noise when the lens is focusing. However, despite that the camera is perfect for all my travel needs.
