Very gracious person to work with since I screwed up on his payment. As per normal eBay won't let you just talk or communicate with a seller except through them infinitely complication the process needlessly. So I am left owning the funds and no easy way of sending it to the seller except to try to figure out eBay protocals.

Overall good experience. There was a small mark on the back of the item that wasn't photographed but it isn't noticeable when displayed. However given the price, shipping speed, and excellent packaging I'm happy with the purchase and would recommend this seller

Gives "Beauty and the Beast" a Different Meaning!
What gives this film a peculiar twist is that our cop friend (Steven Weber) was supposed to be traumatized enough to go see the police psych specialist. It's probably enough for me right there that he was already flipped out about having to shot that crazy lunatic that was supposedly trying to murder Jenifer. On top of that, he probably was a bit too sympathetic to this girl's disfigurement, but was it enough to bring her home to his seemingly perfect wife and son? This guy flipped his cracker. In any case, the fascination that this guy had for this retarded girl soon turned my stomach when it became a sick and twisted sexual escapade. First of all there probably wouldn't have been anyway in a 1,000 years this guy would have been that desperate to fall for this ... That just goes to show you how easily most men can rationalize having sex with a younger female. As far as the acting in this film, in most cases, it was superb and believable. Especially the scene where the wife walks into the room and screams from fright, then Jenifer decides to grab her head and kiss her ending up biting her lips. The character of Jenifer, although I do understand there was an underlying air of innocence about her demeanor, it was quite annoying that all throughout the movie, all she seemed to do (besides cannibalize others and eat the house cat) was to cry, whimper, and moan, acting like a lost puppy. What's extremely hard to swallow again is the social inappropriateness of bringing a disfigured person into your house while they are asleep, much less allowing her to seduce you. The scene after he discovers her in the basement was quite superb acting when he was lying on the floor with Jenifer beside him crying over and over, "What have you done?". Of course, he knew what she had done, but he was drunk and wasn't thinking right. The surreal treatment of all situations in this film slowly begins to warp the viewers sense of right and wrong. We continue to empathize with the cop even more when he gets a brilliant idea to try and go sell her to the local circus carnies as a side-show freak. This too, doesn't seem to compromise his own conscience, even though he tells the circus manager that its totally alright for him to break into his house and kidnap her since it's his own house and he is also a cop. We finally get to the point where we feel that this guy is getting more and more disgusted with her. This heightened feeling becomes evident when he buries the carny in the back yard. I'm wondering all this time, why aren't the neighbors suspecting something unusual about him, even after the young girl turns up missing, therefore we start to see a pattern emerge here. The plot holes continue to get deeper and deeper. Actually, why do we never see the cop's good friend again since he seems to be someone who cares enough about him during the first segments to ask him to go out & have a beer? The segment with the chase & attack of the young man was totally over the top. We have to assume that this is what pushes him to the limit of actually considering killing her out in the woods. We, in turn, soon discover that Jenifer seems to have enough charm to wind back around in an endless cycle. The master of horror, Dario Argento, takes a 58 minute journey into the macabre by presenting us to a never before imagined scenario that holds its own. Other actors include Carrie Fleming, Brenda James, Harris Allan, & Beau Starr. Not for the weak!

Could have been GREAT, but only Average
I am a freelance script (screenplay) writer. That means I'm better than amature but not near professional. This movie had MAJOR, HUGE, wholes in the script. Weak story line could have been juiced up. It never explains why Jennifer is the way she is. The ending suggests that her life is a repeated chain of events. (I won't provide spoilers!!) Why would a cop get sexually involved when he appeared to have it 'OK' at home? (Wife has a similar body!) Why didn't his police pals ever bother to check up on Frank? They just vanish out of the film? How about the wife and kid? Just gone by cab, like that?? NOBODY misses the victims (which include a LITTLE girl!!) After that cat episode, I'd have just taken her back to that asylam/hospital. This movie needed another half ... I am a freelance script (screenplay) writer. Masters of Horror - Jenifer Plot Description: Police officer Frank Spivey saves a disfigured young woman named Jenifer from being slaughtered by a crazy old man. He takes her into his home because she has nowhere else to go, but starts to become obsessed with her. Soon, it becomes clear that there are problems with Jenifer that turn Frank's life upside-down. He realizes that there is only one thing that will keep Jenifer from hurting anyone else and let him return to a normal life. Jenifer is a classic love story with a sick twist. Jenifer not only horribly disfigured, but also cannibalistic. Jenifer isn't a movie for the easily disgusted as just looking at Jenifer will make you a little ill. But some of the scenes that take place in this film are quite ... If you haven't seen a Masters of Horror episode I wouldn't recommend this being your first purchase, I'd save that recommendation for Incident on and off Mountain Road or Deer Woman.
