    Old tech but still valid today

    I bought the phone for the great price - and it was a BalckBerry, so I naturally bid the heck out of it. Alot of the features on it would be great for the average businessman, but for just a regular schmoe like me, I found it a bit beyond my everyday needs. The apps are great, like profiles, and live maps, but I know my way around pretty well. So, overall, it's a great older phone of the BlackBerry family, just not for a regular flip phone/just need a camera/list of numbers/ and recent calls log. I give it three out of five stars. (If there is such a rating.)

    Blackberry 7230

    It is just a replacement phone for my daughter, who abuses phones left and right. So, obviously, I didn't need it to be special. It was certainly not the best as far as high tech goes, and the functionality was a bit limited because she has a different carrier than the one the phone was designed for. All that being said, it works fine and does what she needs it to do.

    Terrible Product

    The phone did not work. I sent a message to the seller asking for assistance, and they sent me ONE question back. I responded to the question, hoping for additional information. The seller NEVER RESPONDED BACK!!!! It was the worst transaction I have EVER had with eBay. However, eBay resolved the issue by refunding my purchase cost because the seller REFUSED to respond or replace the defective phone. eBay was great in handling the matter, and I will continue to make purchases through eBay.

    Device OK! but beware of some not intentional mistakes

    I decided to buy it because it was cheap (although is an old phone) and shipping was free. I also bought it because it was written that the mobile band the device supported was 850/1800/1900 which is what i needed. I never buy a mobile phone if its working frequency is not mentioned. One hint: don't trust always on the device's band information and read the device manual (you can find them online). I found that the 7230 is a 900/1800/1900 device.
