Amazing show
Certainly an end of an era that highlighted a hidden culture and ultimately a struggle of self, acceptance and pride. This show definitely defined television’s boldness and power. I rewatch at least once a year.

queer as folk final season dvd
awesome show on hbo, sorry it had to end. It was the best gay show ever produced on hbo with a realistic story line. Providing a inside look into all avenues of the gay life, culture, real experiences, relationships, and the on going battle to be heard and excepted in daily life as an individual. It would be great if hbo would make a special hour or so return movie to extend the show, and continue the story lines of the characters. The acting was wonderful, the story lines were very realistic. It was a tremendous leap to include adoption into the gay community and their relationships. The show is not only good for the gay community to watch, but very entertaining and informative for the straight community. Would highly recommend anyone and all to watch all 5 seasons of the best ... awesome show on hbo, sorry it had to end. It was the best gay show ever produced on hbo with a realistic story line. End of an Era......
I was happy yet sad to receive my QAF Final Season DVD's. The series was definately ground breaking for the Gay comunnity, filled with the reality of heartbreak and happiness, joy and sorrow. To show gays/lesbians in everday life mode was a plus, over a five year period you came to know and love all the characters (Brian, Michael, Justin, Emmett, Ted, Ben, Lindsay, Melanie, Uncle Vic and of course Debbie (Michael's mother,PFLAG organizer and diner waitress played by Sharon Gless) and will we ever forget the Liberty Diner and it's famous Lemon Bars). This show was extremely popular, no matter what your sexual orientation. A MUST WATCH Series!!! Queer as Folk
Not for everyone . Good acting , Great music . Watched several seasons on TV and wanted to finish the series. A must watch for the Gay population and their family and friends.

My review of QAF the final season
I love this show and feel that it's a shame that this is the very last season. this show should've gone on and on. this season hit on so many issues and things that happen in real life and affect the lives of those around us. what i loved is that Ben and Micheal got married and what i hated is that Brian sold out and changed his ways. i think he should've just stayed the way he was. but i guess tragedy has a way of changing people. i'm happy Justin finally decided to move on and go after his dreams instead of pining over Brian and hoping he would give him what he wanted. i also hated what happened to Babylon. but this show rocks and this season is the best. i wish Emmett and Ted could've worked things out and got back together though.I love this show and feel that it's a shame that this is the very last season. this show should've gone on and on. this season hit on so many issues and things that happen in real life and affect the lives of those around us. what i loved is that Ben and Micheal got married and what i hated is that Brian sold out and changed his ways. i think he should've just stayed the way he was. but i guess tragedy has a way of changing people. i'm happy Justin finally decided to move on and go after his dreams instead of pining over Brian and hoping he would give him what he wanted. i also hated what happened to Babylon. but this show rocks and this season is the best. i wish Emmett and Ted could've worked things out and got back together though.
