Product Information

Featuring exclusive content and following its own storyline, the Xbox version of Ghost Recon 2 is set in Korea, a short time after the events that take place in the PlayStation 2 version of the title. Amid a military revolt, a charismatic general takes control of North Korea -- including its nuclear weapons. To squelch the general's aggressive actions before they spark an international war, players lead a team of characters through operations in the "Axis of Evil" nation. Each squad member has a distinct look and personality. The game is built on a new, specialized version of the Havok 2 game engine, and offers players a new "over-the-shoulder" camera angle that's designed to blend the advantages of traditional first- and third-person perspectives. As in earlier Xbox editions in the Tom Clancy franchise, various multiplayer modes of Ghost Recon 2 are playable online through the Xbox Live service.

    Review of Tom Clancy's Ghost Reacon

    I love the challenge of the game. I lean towards games that make you think and solve things. I am not as quick with the hand eye coordination as my kids so I rarely win those style games against them. You have to think here and project possiblilities. The only fast game I am good at and enjoy are driving games (maybe because I race in real life). I really like the fact it is the teen version so there is no gore. I won't play games that are criminal based or gory or just out and out violent and won't allow them into my home for my children. These are real war situations and I feel it is okay for my children to see, understand and experience it without the bloodshed at their ages. I dislike that there are situations where the opposing side can shoot without aiming and hit you even ...

    Great sequel and history!!!

    The game is more dynamic that the previous Ghost Recons. It is nice to give and provide orders to the teammates. Love the fact that now it is possible to carry more weapons and that it is possible to refill your clips, mags, and rockets. Love the fact that it is possible to pick up the weapons of your fallen enemies. A nice way to increase firepower is that you can order your teammates to man automatic weapons. A total jewel!!!

    Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2 (Final Assault)

    This is by far the best shooter game on the market for the XBOX system. It is much better than Rainbox Six and Splinter Cell, especially when you consider the online play. You cannot go wrong with either Ghost Recon 2 games (Summit Strike or Final Assault). However, do not buy the first two Ghost Recon games (Special Forces or Island Thunder) they really suck. By the way, the most recent Ghost Recon 3 (Advanced Warefighter) is not very good so save your money.

    Clancy always nails it !!!!!!!!!!!

    This is a great action shooter game. The story line is good and the action fast and great. This is different than ghost recon 1. The AI will attack faster and chase after you if you try to run. To get full game feel you have to gain credits per level to unlock guns, soldiers, vehicles.You can have this done befor you complete game in normal mode if you meet all objectives and keep your team alive each mission. This also allows you to do first aide on wounded to keep them going. Alot like First to Fight. lots of multi player options to keep you busy. They took away the promotion feature you find in GR1 but added a cool shoot around corners and over walls feature that makes close combat more realistic. You will have more detailed command options to have team members put in some dirty work. ...

    bad single player,amazing multiplayer

    The games single player campaign is lacking in any sort of morbid fun,and i say this for one reason alone...the enemy AI is terrible.If you are thinking of picking this up you are gonna want xbox live because thats where all the fun is. On another note if you're are still addicted to Halo 2 then you may want to consider this before buying,this game is for hardcore tactical shooter fans.This is a game of one shot kills and can be a bit frustrating at first to players new to these games.
