Not yet opened or played, and an unexpected Xbox purchase.
Ebay wants me to writea review. So here goes my first review. I was the against owning an Xbox so much that I said the only way I would own one would be if someone gave it to me or I won one. So I entered a contest to win a system and won a lower tier prize which was a game for Xbox360 Kinect. I did not own one so I ended up coming here and buying one. As our money is tight when we recieved it we decided to save it for christmas as a gift for the family. Since we have decided this, we have not opened it and thus have not played with it yet. So as for an official review... I can not give because I have not played with an Xbox so I do not know the "ease of use." That and Xbox does not have as many exclusive games that I am interested in. Most games that I like I can be bought for other systems that I own and like better (PS3/Wii). As for "value for my money", I did get this item for about $100 cheaper on ebay then I would have at a store that sold the same item. So value that way is good, but that is also because of a winning bid and timing. So there you have it. My limited thoughts on a system that I have not played yet.

Console works
The console is brand new but the box was opened and some items that were supposed to be in the box were not present such as the Skyrim game. The controller was do a when I tried to use it.

I would recommend this to everyone that has time to play and want to relax.
This item gives you the best gaming experience. With a huge variety of games and the Kinect you will never get board. Even my little brothers can enjoy this item since the Kinect supplies a great user interface and a new way to play. The Console is very easy to use and it has (in my opinion) an advantage over PS3 with the Xbox live feature.

Easy set up but need LOTS of EMPTY space to play Kinect!
The kids & I absolutely love this!! The Kinect was easy to set up and my 3 year old was able to use it immediately! My sons love the features and the graphics are very realistic. The only downfall I can tell so far is that you need a large empty room with at least 8' from the t.v. to play with the Kinect. With three kids large & EMPTY is hard to come by!! It has gotten my kids to get off their butts and move while they play their games.The kids & I absolutely love this!! The Kinect was easy to set up and my 3 year old was able to use it immediately! Awesome product! Great value for money if purchased under $400!
I bought this product because I wanted a gaming system with a great online/live feature. I like that it has three different ways to control it, with kinect (which turns your body into the controller), with your voice (the voice control really works), and of course with the controller. I dislike that you have to pay for online features but the prices aren't bad. This product is better than the wii with its online features and better for war and shooting games. It is basically the same as the PS3 but the PS3 doesn't have kinect or voice control.
