    Great Sound, improved microphone and response.

    The 2nd generation is a vast improvement over the 1st gen. The new design is smaller and compact, but the sound quality is noticeably better. The most improvement is in the far-field microphone technology, the system is a lot more sensitive and seems to pickup the wake word easier and at lower volumes. The "drop in" function works like an intercom between echos, and is probably one of my favorite features. I am constantly using it to communicate with people through out the house.

    Amazon Echo (2ND Generation) Smart Assistant

    This is one super great item to have in your home. You can ask it any question and you will get the correct answer when you ask. We have four of them in our house that's how much that we like them plus our family enjoys the music that it plays all you have to do is to tell Alexa what kind of music that you want and with in a heart beat you have that kind of music. The speaker system is just great the quality and sound is great. To sum it all up buy one and have a lot of fun asking it different questions and be amazed at the different answers that you get plus enjoy the nice sound of the music. Thanks Bill

    Alexa and Echo Speakers will change your lifestyle!

    I am a DJ and a singer so i know a little bit about good sounding music. After testing/ listening to my first pair of these I decided to add the Echo Sub and see what I thought. An hour after listening to the 3 of them I decided to sell both of my stereos, get rid of my entertainment centers, and switch my whole house over to these. Less than a month later I have 5 of these, 4 Echo Dots, 3 Alexa operated plugs, and 3 external 2.1 systems hooked up to 3 of the dots. I have surround sound individually in my 3 rooms and collectively playing the entire system all at the same time. I am in a trial of Amazon Unlimited Music with over 50 million songs and have been playing music every hour that I am awake. These are excellent for music and I also have a system set up with my Firestick for amazing ...

    Shorter in statue with same features

    Everything about the hardware is fine and works very well but I do have some issues with Alexa herself but I could contribute that to my lack of knowledge of working with Alexa.....what I mean is she doesn't always answer me nor does she always follow directions (maybe my lack of Alexa knowledge).
