It's contaminated. That's what pint-sized Bo (Abigail Breslin) says about every glass of water that she tries to drink, then rejects. This is just one in a long list of strange occurrences that are changing the lives of the Hess family. Things go awry when Graham Hess (Mel Gibson) and his brother, Merrill (Joaquin Phoenix), awake early one morning to find the dogs barking and the children--Bo, and her brother Morgan (Rory Culkin)--wandering bleary eyed in the corn fields. They discover a pattern of perfectly carved crop circles left the night before. Trying not to overreact, Graham ignores the media frenzy that has permeated all television and radio stations, and even shrugs off the oddly familiar information that Morgan reads in his book about extraterrestrials invading earth. The real challenge for Graham is to find the faith he needs to pull himself, and his family, through this unexplainable series of events. SIGNS is the long-anticipated film from writer-director M. Night Shyamalan (THE SIXTH SENSE, UNBREAKABLE), a suspenseful and uniquely chilling family story.

    Good movie

    The tape turned out really good the only thing that could be worked on a little bit is the picture quality but it's not too bad but other than that, turn out good

    In my opinion, I'm shocked that actors with the talent of a Mel Gibson, or Joaquin Phoenix, would sell their names to this kind of dumb movie. Aliens coming to Earth to eat us! WOW, that's original. They have the technology to travel through space but can't figure out how to turn a doorknob? Writer M. Night Shyamalan should have been born Japanese. Then he could have written the 100th rewrite of Godzilla, Rodan, Megalon, or some other foolishness about fire-breathing monsters or dragons. This movie is a DUD. Don't waste your time.

    Signs

    It's really hard to find a decent movie these days. I'm sure most of you would agree. That's one of the things I liked about Signs. I thought the movie was very suspenseful and exciting without using very many special effects.It also had a very good message. I recommend this movie to all. I wanted to add that I accidentally ordered vhs instead of dvd. I really noticed the quality in the picture. I will always order dvd in the future.

    Signs

    This is definitely one of my favorite movies. I notice something different every time that I watch it. Joaquin Phoenix and Mel Gibson give great performances in this film. It starts out a bit slow, but if you stay with it and pay attention you'll definitely get into it. It picks up really nicely. If you enjoy alien films, or if you're a fan of suspenseful movies then you'll love this.

    Very intriguing movie, quite interesting

    I never thought I would watch this movie but did one day out of boredom and got hooked! I watch it so often I'm embarrassed to say it. There is just something about this movie that keeps me intrigued. I'm not a Sci-Fi fan at all or am I into UFOs but this movie really is enjoyable. It is intense, a little light-hearted in a couple of places to break the tension and overall just a good movie. I do recommend it!!!!
