    Big features, small bridge camera, a deal at more money!

    OK, I am not a professional and I know that this is not a professional's camera. I used to have a 35 mm SLR and, well, you have to learn a lot to get the most out of them, have additional lenses, flash, etc. I like the simplicity of point and shoot digitals. I started out with the first 4MP camera on the market many yrs ago. then I moved up to Kodak digital 8.2 MP and a 10 MP. Now the 14 MP megazoom. I know that this same camera is available under both the AGFA and GE names. the 15x zoom is great! CNET says that the pics are above average for this type of camera, if the response time lags a bit. I agree that the pics are high quality. Lets face it, MOST people do NOT take pictures for a living and the ability to capture at such a high resolution is overkill. still, for ...

    Older camera, new to me.

    You really need the instruction dvd to fully understand the capabilities of this camera. It has many features that are not readily obvious. Overall though, it's a decent camera for everyday use.

    The secret of Digital Phototography!

    My main brand is Canon. 37 years, my brand. I needed a cheap backup. On my way to the Canon brand, I saw GE? Digital is digital. I purchased two. Light weight cameras. Great detail, 14 MP. up tp 400 MM lens, and on and on. I have literally given my three SLRs to three teens. Lens and all! They are in third heaven. Understanding photography, this is all I need. Big budget guys, and gals, go for it...lol! The rest of us, Get this GE Pro Series 14MP Digital Camera.

    GE X400

    This is an excellent camera for the money. It will take a video, and will continuously take pictures when the shutter button is presses (must be set for continuous). A manual is available for download on the internet. Used 4 AA batteries and has automatic flash. It is small yet takes very acceptable pictures that can be transferred to your PC via a memory card.

    GE 400 Light Weight Digital Camera !!!

    This is a great camera with a lot of features included. It takes great quality pictures , from far to close distances. I love the clearness of the photos and the quickness shown when taking my pictures. It's also light weight. I would recommend this GE400 to anyone who wants to get a nice looking camera.
