It Ain't No Bar Room Concert
O.k., I probably would have liked this DVD more if it was recorded from a concert in the US rather than in Europe. The audience was very appreciative, but overly polite, listening attentively to George and the Destroyers. It was not at all like one of his American concerts where the audience gets into the music and sings along with some of the songs, especially One Bourbon, One Scotch and One Beer. On the other hand, you do get to hear the music better. So it is a trade off. The performances are excellent, especially The Sky Is Crying, but you just don't get the excitement you would get if he was doing the show in front of a half drunk American crowd. George said it best when he said that the audience was almost studious. All in all a must for for fans of Blues Rock and especially ... great live show

Excellent DVD for George Thorogood fans!! Great Sound and Video!!!!
Excellent DVD!!!!!! The sound is awesome and the video is well done especially for a "live" album. Nothing to dislike. George has kept his voice through the years.

Move it on Over--this DVD is great! If you're a Thorogood fan you'll wonder why you didn't get this sooner! All your old favorites with fun tour stuff in between songs. THE DESTROYERS LIVE!! 2004 footage is superb and the sound is good too! Buy it!
