    Good Switch - User Needs to Make Mods

    Matches the Stop-Start style pushbutton used on many Delta woodworking tools. But item is made in China, user needs to make modifications: enlarge the holes in plastic cover & metal bracket (to gain alignment with standard American mounting box), discard metric screws, obtain (2) #6-32 x 1" round head machine screws & (2) nuts & (2) lockwashers. Mount in a cast aluminum rectangular box - use a deep box as regular size is marginal to fit this large switch into and still have room for wiring. Lastly I bought (2) aluminum spacers (nylon would be ok too) with hole #6 or #8 ID x 1/4 OD x 1/4" L to provide support between plastic cover and metal bracket (this prevents the plastic cover from being pushed out of shape when tightening screws).

    Great product great price

    Companies wanted up to $150 for this button assembly...at this price I could buy a box of them, but won't need to...the quality is excellent.

    Be careful.

    This is a maintained contact switch so you will not need a holding circuit like you would if it was a momentary push-button switch. Also, you will be switching the neutral as well as the line circuit if you connect it like the wiring diagram shows. You could just switch the line circuit and leave the neutral off the switch altogether. If you are using a 220 circuit then the switch will be a good choice since both lines would be opened at the same time. So in conclusion, BE CAREFUL if you are replacing an existing Stop/Start switch that has a holding circuit.

    Looks and works great

    I mounted this switch on a 1959 Craftsman 100 table saw my son restored for me. Looks great, works great. Compliments the saw.

    Table saw switch

    Installed this on my 220 table saw. Easy to do the wiring but needed to modify the hole in my saw box to fit this switch. The mod was simple with a dremel grinder and file.
