The best headphones that I have! They knock the socks off of the high priced head phones
Full sound range with a rich deep bass especially when used with the amplification system in the headphone itself. When I turned the switch on it was like the sound came to life all around my head!!! It is like you are at the concert or in the theater with the big surround sound system. If you are out on the town and the batteries run out, these headphones continue to work and sound great without the built in amplification system. Simply turn of the built in amplification system and continue to enjoy great sound until you can power up your amplifier with a new set of batteries. You can buy these new, pay the full price for this headphone and they would still be better than headphones that cost $300.00. We bought the "refurbished pair rather than the new ones in the factory box and when I ... Best headphones for the price by far!
JBL Synchros S500 are by far the highest quality headphones available for the money. Extremely comfortable, lightweight, soft, ear cushions along with high quality metal, padded, adjustable headbands keep the user enjoying the music with a sound quality modeled after the high end headphones used professionally. For a consumer-level product, they're the best I've used. I was completely ready to pay the JBL factory price of $279.95 for this quality, but they were out of stock. Checking Ebay revealed the listing for the same product for $68.95 open box. So we got three ;-)JBL Synchros S500 are by far the highest quality headphones available for the money. Extremely comfortable, lightweight, soft, ear cushions along with high quality metal, padded, adjustable headbands keep the user enjoying the music with a sound quality modeled after the high end headphones used professionally. Punches well above its weight class
Over the ear, open back design (does not appear to be upon first look), solid construction with detachable cord, travels well in provided case. Sound quality is where it exceeds its weight class, detailed and balanced. The LiveStage DSP is good, better with some genres/songs than others.

Dynamic and phenomenal detail.
I have been listening to music for 37 years critically. I do not consider myself an audio file. Mostly because they tend to be pretentious. But I am a lover of music and proper reproduction of what the mixer and the artist intended us to listen to. These headphones are so great for detail and critical listening. The base is phenomenal but it is not color the mids are the highs! This is probably one of the best sound replicating headphones at this price point that you could expect to get. In fact they sound like $400 headphones. Yes I own / 25 pair of headphones. These are now my go to listening device! The switch that is on the right ear cup all you have to do is slide it forward and it is surround sound. The vase is generally a lot clear and prominent in this mode. They're very ... Mediocre headphones, I've had better for less.
The service I had was great with the sales person, however I'm not that impressed with the sound. I've had cheaper headphones that sound just as good.
