Works As Expected
This USB Hub arrived on time and is exactly as described and expected. I have used it several days on a new HP Pavilion and also on a MS Surface Pro 3; it seems to be working well. I have 2 devices plus 100mbs Ethernet cable plugged into it and experienced no slow-down in speed. Both of these laptops only have USB ports on the right side, and the Surface Pro 3 is on the high side when used as a laptop, so a slightly longer cord would be preferred to get the hub a bit farther from the mouse pad.This USB Hub arrived on time and is exactly as described and expected. Great compact 3.0 port hub
Nice hub that’s not expensive. I use it with Oculus Rift sensors on my laptop as well as a laptop cooling pad without any problems. Compact, light highly recommend for anyone looking to add a shared USB port at 3.0 speeds. If you are looking to connect multiple power hungry devices such as charging cell phones or multiple external hard drives, then this device is not for you. You need a powered adapter. This is good for a single high power and one low power device or multiple low power devices.Nice hub that’s not expensive. My keyboard and mouse have only worked plugged directly into the computers USB slot. They do not work when plugged into a HUB.This is what my research told me to order. The bad: My keyboard and mouse do not work when plugged into this HUB. The good: Reviews of this HUB are wonderful in its favor. It is a quality product. It functions perfectly, and as it should with USB's. This is highly recommended. Best way to increase the number of usb ports in your computer
I used the hub and it work's great. I copied from my computer to the hub which had a sd card, usb flash drive and it was fast. Forget the fact it is so cheap, realize that if you have to increase the number of usb ports in your computer this is a fabulous way to go.

Bad product.
Connected this item to the USB 3.0 card on my desktop pc (which works perfectly). The hub works fine with USB 2.0 devices, but not with 3.0 devices. It recognizes that a 3.0 device is present, but doesn't read or write data to it. I know the issue is not my pc or 3.0 card, because when I connect a USB 3.0 device directly to the card, it works fine. So, it's definitely an issue with the hub.
