    you need to know 12 volt dc, get this book !

    well for one thing you have to remember that the electrical world while full of new gadgets, is unchanged as far as laws, and ways to configure power supplies. therefore this book, will only aid or complement your knowledge of use/uses of 12/24 volt dc power systems. if you have a boat, you need this information, if you are new to photovoltaics, this book is at a level that will aid in anyones requirementsa to have a base of understanding. if you are into building kits (dc powered) bedini, kromrey, or simple dc systems, please get a copy !

    Great book!

    A great book for the novice. It explains the basics of a 12 volt system in a way even those not already familiar with electricity and electrical principles can understand. Very easy to read.

    Recommended for beginners and those who need a little refresher on 12 VDC

    Good basic DC electricity book. However it is dated and does not cover the use of LED's which will reduce the load on your system. Recommended for beginners and those who need a refresher course for those wire runs you are going to do ...what size wire do I need? What do those numbers mean on the side of the battery etc.
