Product Information

Undercover police officer Tanner returns to active duty in DRIV3R, a continuation of the mission-based driving series that made its PlayStation debut in 1998. Following a similar structure to Grand Theft Auto III, players are given the freedom to leave vehicles at any time to complete objectives on foot. "Biggest disappointment this year?" Introduction: Driv3r was supposed to be one of the most anticipated games this year, but instead due to the bad AI, the glitches, and most of all the gameplay the game became probably the year's most disappointing game. Graphics (5) : The graphics IS NOT the baddest or greatest but it could have been a lot better. The graphics just seem the same to the previous drivers but just a little touch up job. Gameplay (2): The only thing that you will found fun is the Survival mode. Which in the previous drivers kicked ass. The missions in story mode has a little challenge except for the on-foot ones you will found those amazingly easy. All you have to do is just run up to them while fire because the enemy AI is just damn straight stupid. I recall once mission ... "Biggest disappointment this year?" I recall once mission where I stand at the edge og the door where i can see the Enemy's hand and leg. So I shoot him in the leg twice and he just stood there scratching neck literally. There are only two missions that are really a challenge. One you have to rescue some guy in a car by chasing the car and shooting it another is the bomb truck mission. Sound (6) : Bad...music wise that is, but at least you can play your favorite soundtracks on your Xbox with the Jukebox in the game. The voice is outstanding Michael Madsen does a great job with Tanner and Michelle Rodriguez for also does a great job Calita. Replay Value (4) : The only thing you would probably play again is survival or free ride. I doubt anyone would waste another 10-15 hours of their life playing this when they can play better games like good old Superman 64 or even better Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness. Overall (5) : This game was suppose to come out earlier this year. But was delayed, usually that means "There are some problems we just found so sadly we will have to delay Driv3r and fix most if not all the problems". But they didn't do that what did they do hell if I know but what you and I know they didn't fix ****. The cutscenes and the high star actors are the only impressing thing in the game. That is really the game's and the Reflections' downfall. Trying to make the game look like a movie. For the next Driver Reflections' or whoever BETTER focus more on the gameplay then on cutscenes and high star actors giving their voices to the characters if they want Driver 4 to sell.

A good installment, better than Parallel lines and Driver 2, check it out.
the cops are stupid the a.i. isn't the greatest the first person shooter aspect of walking around wasn't and especially now, isn't perfect. Grand Theft Auto is still better.... BUT! This game is still fun, and a good driving game with interesting locations and cars. It's so cheap now why not pick it up to try it. You might not want to use a lot of time completing the story, but it can be done in less than two days and driver cut-scenes have always been entertaining.the cops are stupid the a.i. isn't the greatest the first person shooter aspect of walking around wasn't and especially now, isn't perfect. Better than Gran Theft Auto
The story is very long and interesting. The Free Roam (drive around and do whatever you want) is awesome. I say better than GTA free roam because you can turn off cops and enable cheats so you don't have to worry about causing an uproar when you run over people or something. You can also walk around and do things too. I love how there's many different types of vehicles and how the maps are HUGE and very detailed. Anyone who says it's bad is a GTA lover who hates good games. People dislike this game because the campaign is difficult. This is my favorite game or Xbox and PS2. I sold my Xbox, but decided to buy it again so I could play DRIV3R. It's cheap (now at least $5 for 2013), so I recommend you try it at least.The story is very long and interesting. driv3r for xbox
I ordered this for my son. When he first put it in it wouldnt work. But he said the disc was dirty. So we cleaned it all up and worked just fine. Great price, fast shipping.
