Gather The Family for an EPIC Adventure!!
Epic is a computer-animated adventure fantasy filled with gorgeous scenery, nice animated effects, plenty of action, and a somewhat familiar plot about the existence of a society of tiny people. Mary Katherine (Amanda Seyfried), or M.K. as she likes to be called, has recently come to live with her dad Bomba (Jason Sudeikis) in a ramshackle house in the middle of nowhere. Obsessed with proving the existence of a society of tiny guardians of the forest called Leafmen, who are responsible for maintaining balance by keeping the Boggans from spreading blight throughout the forest, M.K.'s dad has little time for a daughter or the realities of everyday life. A chance event lands M.K. right in the middle of the Leafmen's society, where she quickly develops a whole new appreciation for ... M.K. joins forces with an assortment of unlikely heroes, including slug and snail duo Mub and Grub (Aziz Ansari and Chris O'Dowd), overzealous Leafmen commander General Ronin (Colin Farrell), and Nod (Josh Hutcherson), a soldier with a bad habit of questioning authority. Their perilous journey introduces M.K. to a strange new breed of enemy and a whole new way of thinking. Loosely based on William Joyce's book The Leaf Men and the Brave Good Bugs, the film shares its premise--a society of tiny people tries to thrive without drawing the attention of the larger humans. What's unique about Epic is that it's just as much action film as fantasy. Gather the family for a wonderful adventure!

great movie
I bought this for my 5 1/2 yr. old great grandaughter & she loved it. She was wanting this movie so when it came in the mail she was one happy camper !!! It is a very good & entertaining little movie for the young & old alike !!!

A wholesome escape from our troubled world
I've watched this movie a dozen times.....it's all good. I will use it many times more am sure. Can't go wrong with it. Just sit back and enjoy what it offers.

The whole family will enjoy it!
Great movie for the whole family. If you are a type of parent who feels punished when having to watch a kid movie, this one is for you. You will love watching it as much as they do. With its amazing animation, great colors and lots of fun twists it will keep the little ones amazed. Its story line, and the underlined message behind some family/life issues the movie deals with will offers more for the older kids to ponder. While it deals with some heavy things, it is not overwhelming, and it end well. Loved the story and the message. Excellent animation. Lots of fun to watch.Great movie for the whole family. Enjoyed watching with my granddaughter
I loved this movie! Want my granddaughter to have an imagination that is not bound so she can achieve anything she imagines to do in life! while having fun!
