    The Other Side

    I bought this book because I was looking for something that started before the pioneers went west. Most authors seem to dwell on just the plains Natives and the struggles the europeans had with them. I am of Choctaw heritage(mostly), I was looking for some books that covered the southeastern Natives. If the eastern Natives are covered, it is just the northern ones. I wanted to find out more about my people and their customs. I got a lot more. This book was absolutely great in expressing the Native view point; even though it did not cover my peoples as much as I had hope. I am very proud to add it to my collection and would definitely recommend it for 'have to read'. I was very pleased to see a lot of things in the book that my grandfather had told us about that contradicted ...

    A Real Eye Opener On American Indians

    I Purchased this book to learn more about our American Indians. The Book gives wonderful detailed descriptions of our American Indians,from the East coast to the West Coast. There are plenty of pictures,also References,Real True Stories of events that took place. I do Recomment this Book for any one who wants to learn more about Our American Indians.
