Ouran High School Host Club LOVE!!
This is an anime that I decided to buy because I needed a good laugh. It is a typical girlie anime, but every time I watch it I crack up. All of the characters are soooo lovable. The plot lines are ridiculously idiotic and charmingly sincere. I LOVE this anime, it's one of my favorites and the only 'romantic' anime I've ever bought. It's excellent and I love it to death. The English dubs are well done and capture the feeling of the original voices pretty well and the outtakes are hilarious. So, if you're looking for a feel-good anime that doesn't require you think think much beyond 'oh my god... what ARE they doing?' and splitting yoru sides laughing, then this is your anime. Pretty good :)
Ever since I watched this in Japanese I loved it!! I think the only issue I had with the series was I didn't feel all the dubbed voices fit with the characters. For instance, I am so/so about Tamaki's new voice. The twins are okay, but still missing something. I did, however, like the dub voices of Kyouya, Honey-Sempai and for the most part, Haruhi. There were moments, however, that the English version had issues. Like in the episode "Haruhi in Wonderland", the scene where she says "ba-nan-ah". It wasn't that the dub actress was bad, it just missed something to me. Overall though, I thoroughly enjoyed this dub versionEver since I watched this in Japanese I loved it!! I'm in Love-Love!
I was very much against this series for a long time. My friends all adored the manga but I didn't. I usually hate anything shoujo related. But boredom got the best of me and I started watching the anime series. I was hooked halfway through the first episode. Most people say they prefer the original Japanese to the English, but I try to only watch my anime in english (I listen to them while I work) and so I highly enjoyed this one. All my favorite voice actors are present but one which is a plus and the cast just seems to have so much fun.
