Entertaining, Funny, and Enjoyable
Plain heroine, who turns out not to be so plain as she learns to be true to herself, falls for handsome rake, who is not as bad as his reputation would have it. Tired of her dull, boring spinsterhood, Callie draws up a bucket list of daring adventures. Dashing rake helps her fulfill them while trying to keep her safe. He compromises her completely in a hot love scene and feels honor-bound to marry her. She is of too strong a character to accept his offer when he doesn't love her. Of course, he finally realizes he can't live without her. You may have read similar plots and be tempted to avoid this one, but you will be missing out on a really fun read if you do. This author is fresh and engaging on every page. The dialogue among the characters is priceless. You won't be disappointed ...
