Bottom line: I love it and am currently buying each season for collection!
Very funny series! It's a little short, comparing it to other series such as Dexter, Lost and/or Californication, but it's definitely funny and entertaining. For those who don't know anything about it, it's about a woman who's recently widowed, form the suburbs and to get by she starts to deal cannabis. Because of the theme of the series obvious parental advisory is definitely recommended. I bought this season because I started seeing it on Shotime from like the 4th season and I wanted to know some fundamentals (like hoe did she get in the business and who everyone is). I recommend ALL of the shotime series, they're all very funny and entertaining. For cannabis users it is a perfect show to watch and it has some features on the dvd which they might find interesting and useful, like ... Very funny series! For parents who have young children or young adults I do NOT recommend it, if they are against legalizing it, as it shows and demonstrates that it is not a gateway drug and non-addictive and it basically shows the benefits of it and it almost encourages people to use it. But if you're know where your head is at, then you have no problem. You can compare it with Californication, it has some strong adult material, but is funny and entertaining as heck! (not as strong as Californication though).

Weeds - Season 1 (Blu-ray Disc, 2007)
Love the intro song it is stuck in my head and I been singing along on every episode. This show is very hilarious and captivating with a mixture of funny, suspense some well visual romance and of course the absolutely wtf moments. Highly recommend to watch. I can't wait to move forward and watch more.

Weeds - Season 1 (2007, Blu-ray DVD
One of the best TV Series I have ever watched. Terrific casting & acting. Have now watched the entire season 1 and season 2, and am eagerly awaiting the release of season 3. I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys a good, well produced comedy.

Best series i've seen by far!!
I originally bought the season for my boyfriend because i had seen season 1 abt two years ago and i wanted him to watch it. However, i had almost forgot how great this series is. We went through season one and two wayyyy too quick. Currently waiting for season three to come in the mail =D
