Dear diary... today I discovered the old dead is not dead
If you've never watched Diary of the Dead and are expecting another sequal in the Romero franchise, you are in for a surprise. This is a well executed, found footage installment that takes place in the same timeframe as 'Night', but updated to 2008. The characters are engaging and there is enough familier arcs and gore to know you are watching a Romero film. While it does not have the scope of 'Land', there is clostrophobic "what the heck is going on here?" feel very reminicent of the original film.If you've never watched Diary of the Dead and are expecting another sequal in the Romero franchise, you are in for a surprise. Worst Romero Zombie Film
This is easily by far the worst of the zombie films I have watched that were made by Romero. It is so forgettable that I just forgot what it was about and I just watched it 2 weeks ago. It is not really a zombie film at all and I cannot figure out what its purpose was. It was not entertaining at all.

Diary of the Dead
If you're into zombie/infected films such as Dawn of the Dead or Land of the Dead, this is a film you will like. You get the one on one perspective from a handheld video camera of the infected taking over the world. Rather than sweeping camera moves you get the emotion and detail up close and personal. A good amount of blood/gore with awesome character development this is one you wont want to miss for a horror fan.If you're into zombie/infected films such as Dawn of the Dead or Land of the Dead, this is a film you will like. Dear Diary...
I have seen this many times but feel as if this was the first. I saw things this go around that were impossible to see on a regular dvd. I love zombie movies and Romero's are the best. This movie has a wonderful story and a few great gore scenes to boost. I enjoyed the methods in which the zombies were killed a lot of variants. I also felt the movie was paced very well I never was bored. Over all I really enjoyed this a must have for any Romero fan and if you can, grab it on Blu Ray.I have seen this many times but feel as if this was the first.
