One jerk said this review was not helpful because I compared it with Hills have eyes and did not give credit to the orig 'hills have eyes' of 20 years ago. GIVE ME A BREAK! OK, with that past us, here's my take on a great movie "Wrong TURN': I have become lenient with thrillers in the last decade. A good one is truly hard to write. This movie gets a '4/5 Good' rating. The story was good and the cast and acting excellant. And it was done without graphic sex scenes (usually never necessary,and unrelated to the film but needed as a demand to a film for filler purposes for under achieving horrors)This movie was NOT under achieving! It won't win awards but will please the 'Thriller / horror' fan as it stands out and above so many ... Only Saw 1 and Saw 2 so far have successfully accomplished this feat. Wrong Turn has a fighting chance to join and rank in this catergory If they do it RIGHT. Sequil probably WILL need a sex scene! Seeing 'Dushku' in the buff with her hero from the first film wouldn't be so terrible anyway! Fast , exciting and scary (without providing spoilers!) GO SEE THE FILM / BUY IT!! (-: David

Wrong Turn
I really enjoyed this movie. Many horror movies made nowadays are crappy, but this is not one of them. The movie starts out with Chris (Desmond Harrington), who is late for an interview. He needs to take a shortcut since there was a highway accident. He finds a shortcut through a dirt road and ends up hitting a car. No one was injured, but both cars are totalled. Two of the teens stay behind, while the other four decide to walk down the road to see if they can find a house with a phone. They manage to find a cabin, but soon find out that they are in danger when they find strange things around the house, and finally find body parts. The inhabitants of the cabin come back before the four teens can leave the house. So they have to hide. The teens are able to leave after the ... I really enjoyed this movie. The reason for the rated R rating is because of the amount of gore that you see in it. The acting in this movie is great, they really picked some great actors and actresses. Among them are: Eliza Dushku, Desmond Harrington, and Kevin Zegers. If you are itching for a good horror movie, then check this one out!

One of my all-time favorites!!!
Wrong Turn One of my all-time favorite slasher films. A great cast and amazing make-up/costume design make this movie great. I saw it in theatres and was on the edge of my seat the entire time. The movie has a chilling effect, it'll make you think twice about going into the woods. The cast of inbred, murderous brothers is great. The make-up and costume design is spot on, and each actor brings their own persona to their character. This film has it all horror-wise. Final Verdict: 5/5 Rent or Buy?: This is one of those slasher films you must have, it offers so much for everybody watching. One of my all-time favorites. Wonderful work
The number one reason i bought this movie is cause i am a true horror fan. When i watched it for the first time it was exciting and it was thrilling. It kept me at the edge of my seat for a while. The graphics were awesome and if you are one of those people that like a lot of blood and gore in a movie then this is the movie for you. Great storyline wonderful acting. I would give this movie a 5 star rating and two thumbs up. I gurantee if you purchase this movie you will be wantging to watch it over and over again. It will also make you think twice of where you take your friends or family befor you go on vacation. There is nothing at the moment that i dislike about this movie and i don't think there ever will be. You mean Right Turn!
I love this movie! I'm not to fond of part three and part two (even though Henry Rollins rocks and that one part in the beginning where that american idol chick gets her bottom lip bitten off and then she gets cut in half with a ax....yep... best part of the movie right there!....actually.... be sure to check out that scene at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ezk8Z0gVfw0&feature=related .....you will be glad you did!) Anyway.... part one is a MUST SEE for all horror buffs! This movie was at my number one "favorite newer horror movie" spot until Dead Snow came out in 2009 and down to number two it went. This movie has great kill scenes and is a delight for anyone who loves horrors.I love this movie!
