Solitaire Overload offers 101 variants of the classic, companionless card game, including such favorites as Klondike, FreeCell, Spider, Yukon, Forty Thieves, and Canfield. Customization options include the ability to switch decks, wallpapers, and background music. On-screen rules are available for each game, and players can use the stylus, directional pad, or their fingers to manipulate the cards. Solitaire Overload DS
A difficult game to stretch the gray matter (brain). But a great challenge. Yes, I do get frustrated trying to be successful at the games, if anyone has some tips it would be much appreciated. 101 games at a nice reasonable (cheap) price is why this is getting a good rating. There is games I never even heard of before! The images are easy on the eyes and can be a good companion to take with you when traveling or to a doctor's appointment. Busy moms can keep their kids occupied and amused with a rated G game and feel rest assured that the kids are getting a fun and educational experience with Solitaire Overload. This is just a compilation of solitaire games
So the graphics . . . well the cards are clear and well-formed enough to play the games without difficulty. The gameplay . . . it is solitaire. As a used game the value was just fine. I have tried it myself (more of a quality control measure than anything else) and I thought the experience was adwqaute - but the person for whom the game was purchased (a solitaire enthusiast) seems reasonably fascinated. The game is being played on a DSi XL, with a nice big screen. It is cool that the information window opens up on the top screen instead of obscuring gameplay. Solitaire Overload for Nintendo DS
I adore Solitaire, so I'd been wanting this for a while. It's pretty good, with nice gameplay. There's no extra somethings that take too long or irritate quickly. However, there are TONS of different games, and the instructions are very short, so I still don't get how to play most of them. Overall, a nice game that'll hold your attention for a good while, but not worth the listing price; try to get it on sale.I adore Solitaire, so I'd been wanting this for a while. One for the Solitaire-aholic!
I bought this game because I had played most of these versions before on a Palm PDA. These games are similar with a twist every once-in-a-while. There are over 100 games available to be played. If you get bored or stumped on one, there are plenty more. I agree that some of the games take a little time to figure out but for the die-hard solitaire player, it doesn't stop one from trying. It give you the same suites in the same order every time you start playing
It give you the same suites in the same order every time you start playing. After playing several rounds you know which cards you're going to get next. BORING!!!
