I am an Alpine user for over 20 years, and the new CDA-105 is one of the most feature packed head units for the money that you can buy. With the rear USB port, Ipod control capability, HD/Bluetooth expansions, Imprint sound function, and CD/MP3 playback, there is a host of ways to listen to music and also have phone integration. Also, there are 3 sets of pre-amp rca outputs, subwoofer control/crossover, high pass crossover, for multi-amp setups, or you can use the internal power to run your speakers directly. The only thing I really miss about the newer Alpine units is the 512-color illumination feature from the CDA-9831/3/5 series, you could really fine-tune the lights to match your car's dash light illumination. However, this unit has a nice smooth red backlighting scheme, and you can ... However, this unit has a nice smooth red backlighting scheme, and you can change the function control buttons from blue to red, which is important to me as I have several Audi's with red dash lighting (all my vehicles have Alpines with red backlighting!). No big surprise that the legendary Alpine quality sound is present, so no complaints there; the display is large and easy to read, and the unit menus/functions are user-friendly---unlike some radios in the marketplace that you basically need a degree to operate.. Alpine has a true winner here in the sub-200.00 category of head units; the CDA-105 performs like a deck that retails for double its price.. Cary

I have got the tape recorder 2 weeks ago. After delivery has established the given tape recorder in the car. Has been extremely surprised by excellent quality of sounding. In comparison with the regular tape recorder - this is much better!!! Also there is a connection possibility стандарных buttons on a car wheel. It is a lot of options. All can be adjusted under itself. Has pleased usb in the standard. The convenient forward panel and choice possibility подстветки that allows to adjust the tape recorder under the panel of devices. Excellent head unit, and really good when used with the pxa-h100. Easy to use controls
Very good Alpine stereo, one of the last ainet decks marketed by alpine and has some advanced features built in to it.

Great car head unit
This is a great no-nonsense head for cheap. Use a an external amp with the audio outputs, hook up ipod via USB and control it from the head unit. Plenty of expansion for CD changer, I'm planning on running my Sirius tuner as-well using an aux cable for the ainet jack. Then maybe blue tooth for the cell phone.

Alpine CDA-105 Receiver Review
For the price has a bunch of features and pretty simple to use. I wish it did come with HD, for another $200 to add on I think that is way overpriced. I could have spent less money for another unit with the same features AND HD. But, I do like the Alpines better, I think it will last longer than the less expensive units.
