Tracks by Louise Erdrich
I had previously read one of Louise Erdrich's other books entitled "The Painted Drum" and absolutely loved it. I have always been fascinated with Native American culture and Louise intertwines her characters with their connection to "mother earth". I couldn't wait to begin listening to this 5 CD collection of two of her other works - Tracks and Four Souls. I definitely was not disappointed. You want to keep listening until you reach the end. She has a way of making you feel like you know the characters in her stories. Four Souls & Tracks by Louise Erdrich (2004)
This is an excellent story. I bought it for the CD Tracks(for school), but I found myself wanting to hear more and I ended up listening to Four Souls also. I suggest listening to Tracks forst then Four souls even thought the CD's go in the other order. It is a great story.
