    Great Projector!

    This was a Christmas present for my husband. He had been wanting one for a very long time, but cost had been a factor. This projector works great. We have used it with laptops as well as a dvd player. We do not even need a fancy screen. The image is great just projected on a white sheet or on a plain white wall. It does have a speaker, but it is not very loud. It is fine for a small room, but we usually plug in usb speakers to up the sound. Of course just like all projectors the bulb is very expensive. Just save up a little every time you can in a special place so that when the bulb goes out you can buy a new one with out a big hit to your pocket book! Our whole family enjoys this projector.

    Good product but has its issues.

    The Dell 2200MP projector is overall a good reliable product. I purchased one new about 7 years ago, and used it periodically to teach classes over a large territory within my state. Easy to use and lightweight. It does have a common failure however, which are the mirrors in the light tunnel. This projector is no longer produced, and there are no repair parts available from Dell. I purchased a parts unit here on E-bay, taking a chance that the mirror assembly was good, which it was. My original unit is now back up and going strong.

    The Description of the condition was not really clear

    When I read the description seems that it was going to be only the lenses from the projector that was not working, so I was very please because I taught that I was getting a good deal! I have a ministry in Mexico and my family and go every Saturday and preach God’s word, we were meaning in buying a projector to show movies but there are so expensive, so this seems something we were able to buy, even if we need to change the lenses, but I went and look the other items of this same vendor was also selling, which was the lenses for this projector, his description make me realized that there is not only the lenses that is wrong with the projector, that there is something else too!... I wish the vendor were to be more honest and added the description that he put for the lenses describe that he ...

    Dell Projector fits the bill

    I purchased this projector to update from a previous projector that weighed a ton and reminded me of a boat anchor. The light weight and portability is what I need and this fits the bill. The Dell's display image is very clear and worked well the first time I used it. I would not hesitate to buy a Dell projector in the future. So far I have not found anything I do not like, although I have not tried the sound. Between the old projector and this Dell there is no comparison, Dell Better!!! Priced right.

    Good projector but it needs a room with little light to get best result.

    Picked this one used for a little over $100 and for the price it is great but because I did not research and I am new to projectors I had to learn by trial and error the best way to run high definition. HDMI cables do not work with it and the best way to run video is component to VGA converter.
