But Carl isn't alone on his once-in-a-lifetime journey, because stowed away on his front porch is an excitable eight-year-old wilderness explorer named Russell. What a wonderful movie, for kids of all ages
The life of Carl Fredericksen comes to life in this latest collaboration between Disney Studios and Pixar. Carl is a 78 year old man who has lived a wonderful life until his childhood sweetheart and wife passes away. Carl, left on his own and with the world moving around him has his world suddenly turned on end when developers move into the neighborhood. After a ugly encounter with one of the construction workers, Carl devises a plan to live out the childhood of himself and his wife and sail away to Paradise Falls in South America. Carl is joined by a well meaning boy scout who is trying to earn his badge by assisting an elderly person. The two sail off together into an adventure that is full of excitement and wonder. Another good film from Disney/Pixar
This film is another success for Disney/Pixar. Thankfully, they are different than the rest. They come up with original ideas. Beautiful animation. A disappointment-NO GOOD MUSIC. Remember when Disney films had good music/songs? Sure miss those days. Memorable songs? Oscar winning songs? Those were the days. This has the digital copy. Good idea, but I would like to see some different extras like Disney used to. More information on the film, showing more in depth stuff. NO chapter list, you just do NOT get these anymore & I want them. And, Disney/Pixar, why the horrible flip the little flap DVD case/holder? Now, I looked at the single disc DVD & IT DID NOT HAVE THIS HORRIBLE FEATURE, SO WHY DOES THE MORE EXPENSIVE HAVE THIS. Hate them.This film is another success for Disney/Pixar. this movie shows how being devoted to someone or some thing can bring people together and that growing old doesn't have to mean you can't carry out your dreams or find new ones .life is precious at any age

Good family movie. Clean and heartwarming
Loved the movie. The movie will pass over younger viewers. It is more for an older audience to get the true meaning. The movie is fun and heartwarming for the younger viewers. It may not end up as their favourite. But, will keep them entertained. I would say a good family movie.
