The best footage of the best metal band!
This collection of backstage / music video footage compiled into what is know as the Pantera Home Videos is some of the most entertaining montage of any band known on this planet. I have been an avid lover of Pantera for many years and have seen these videos over and over again. The excess abuse of alcohol and drugs combined with reckless trashing of hotel rooms in a feel good - southern rebel fashion. Crazy antics by all the band members and the road crew is just one post for the foundation for these videos. Another is the collection of BAD ASS music videos by the beloved Pantera. You get a spine tingling feeling watching the videos like "5 Minutes Alone" and "I'm Broken" along with "Walk" and "Cemetary Gates". And all the other top rated ... Any fan MUST own this DVD and I have shown it to non fans and they have laughed their ass off watching the hillarious stunts (for example: Dimebag, drunk off his ass, deciding he's gonna smash up his neighbors car with a sledge hammer, laughing histerically, and just buy the guy a new car later.) That's Fuckin Metal!!!!!! To anyone wondering why so many people where shaken so badly at the death of the great Dimebag Darrel, watch these videos and you will see for yourself. R.I.P. Dime You will always be the best.

2-DVD set of Pantera vids
I give the 2-disc version a lower rating than the single disc version because it's vertually identical. The only differences are the cover art, the menu, and a supposed "5.1 surround" mix. If the 5.1 mix was better, I would've given this a 5 rating. The 5.1 mix is simply bad. Any surround receiver would automatically output the same signals with a stereo source. The left and right signals are the ordinary stereo mix, the center is simply left+right, and the rear-fill is simply mono-cancelled. HOWEVER, the rest of the content is excellent, with more backstage, onstage, tour, and promo vids than you can shack a stick at. In sum, if you're an audiophile looking for an improved sound, don't bother. GReat music for Pantera fans. Lots of back stage videos as well as live music videos.
The DVD played all the through without any issues. It arrived sealed as advertised.
