Top notch &quot;revenge&quot; flick - more fun than I Spit On Your Grave or Last House On The Left but still has the ability to make you feel kinda gross. Multi-racial gang (white, Latino, Asian), led by super bigot &quot;Jessie Lee Kane&quot;, pulls a home invasion on a peaceful black family. They push the family (and father, Ted, in particular), too far and revenge is the only option. A lovable piece of trash that could never be made today. ULTRA TRASH. What Is The Point?
Fight For Your Life could compete with DJANGO Unchained for liberal use of the "N" Word. Escaped convicts hold up in the house of an African American Family and put them through Hell. Verbal Abuse, Torture and Rape are just some of the low- lights of this notorious GrindHouse Shocker. You will need a strong constitution to sit through this one. Small children are fare game for these killers. One can only wonder what the point of this movie is. Banned in the UK and censored just about everywhere else (except South America - Where Life Is Cheap. Sugested for hardcore fans of ultra violence only. I'm no prude, I love the Cannibal flicks of the 80s and any gore FEST from Italy, but this was just to much. Good acting and production values aside, I would not Recomend this film for ... Take that PC America
Now I don't condone the actions depicted in the film but like most I watch films to escape. I enjoy horror and things that make me squirm, uncomfortable etc. Sadly films like this can not be made in today's cry baby society. Thanks to a few film companies folks like myself can escape from the garbage disposal of modern day eye candy movies and watch films from an era that allowed film makers freedom. This film isn't for everyone but if you're interested in an obscure exploitation film that's rather rare to find pick this upNow I don't condone the actions depicted in the film but like most I watch films to escape. It's Day Is Past
I had heard so much abaout this film; how controversial it was, how it had been banned in the UK, ect. What I discovered instead was a film so tame that today's movie-going audience would not bat an eyelash at the langauge or implied violence. If you have seen (and were not overly offended by) Pulp Fiction, this movie holds no suprises for you and is not worth your time.
