Road to Avonlea Complete Season Four (DVD,2004)
In Season 4 of this fabulous family series, the characters begin to grow & their lives take different twists and turns. The first episode is when Jasper & Olivia have their baby which is very dramatic at the end. Aunt Hetty becomes a writer by accident and winds up competing with another author that turns out to be someone she knows. Sara experiences her first infatuation of love when she admires a handsome showman. Felicity and Gus begin to court but then Gus worries when another young man comes into the picture. One of my favorite episodes is "The Disappearance" which stars Robby Benson & Diana Rigg. It's a mystery of sorts, and I wish there were more episodes like that. Another delightful one is "Home Movie", where a developer comes to town and wants to modernize it but Jasper & Sara ... In Season 4 of this fabulous family series, the characters begin to grow & their lives take different twists and turns. Felix gets a job at the hotel and learns responsibility. My least favorite episode is "Evelyn," but it's true-to-life. Every show makes a person feel like they are living alongside the characters from the Victorian Era. A real delight!

Road to Avonlea - Complete Fourth volume
I cannot say enough good about this entire series. I never got to see the series on the Disney Channel and always wished it would come to ABC. I did, however, buy as many of the shows as I could find on VHS. When I saw each season was on DVD, I had to get the complete series. I have now purchased all the seasons except one. This series is an excellent family show with good morals, wonderful actors, great stories. It is set in Avonlea, Prince Edward Island where Anne of Green Gables took place. Several characters from "Anne" are also in Road to Avonlea. I highly recommend this series - all of the seasons.I cannot say enough good about this entire series. Great quality, arrived quickly
I got this a as a birthday present for my younger sister who has a few other seasons of Road to Avonlea. I grew up watching this show on TV and am so glad that I can pass the love of it on to her. My favorite series!!!
Road to Avonlea is a great family show! Our family loved the series. There is nothing not to like. There is love and sorrow, joy and romance. If your family likes to crowd together in a room to watch a movie together, this is one of the best for such an occasion. There are a variety of characters: Aunt Hetty, Sara Stanley, Felix, Felicity, Uncle Alex, Aunt Janet, Gus Pike, etc.! Each person in your family will choose their favorite one to root for. My favorite is Gus Pike. Watch the series and see if you agree with me. :)Road to Avonlea is a great family show! Our family loved the series. There is nothing not to like. Road to Avonlea $the Complete Season
A wonderful series for the whole family. The continuing story of Sarah Stanley, Aunt Hetty, and the King family in the little town of Avonlea on Prince Edward Island. My kids who are teens love watching this show since it deals with struggles during a earlier period of history. (around the turn of the century) I recommend this series to anyone looking for wholesome entertainment.
