Versatile and adaptable
To start, I have just fallen in love with this camera. It feels in my hands like my old 35 mm SLR's and Rangefinders. It is the first digital camera that I've bought that doesn't feel like a fragile plastic toy (and I have had several). It is also the first digital I've had that can use almost any lens (with the help of a 4/3 adapter ring). The catalog of of settings is very extensive. I went online and compared many similar cameras before making my purchase and I am quite satisfied. This camera will challenge and sharpen my skills as a photographer. The first accessory I would recommend to purchase is an extra battery or two. The only drawback that I have found is the lack of a built in viewfinder and the cost of the viewfinder attachment. Used in photomicrography
I bought this in order to make photomicrographs with my Olympus BH-2 universal microscope. I had previously used a film camera (Olympus OM-2S), so had that adapter on my instrument. I bought an adapter to fit OM lenses to the Pen E mount. Focus is perfect, and using the A (aperture priority) setting, the camera picks the correct shutter speed for proper exposure. With this arrangement, focus is matched to visual focus, and pictures are sharp. The Olympus NFR photo eyepiece I have is 2.5, which fits the 35mm format. A better fit for the digital camera would be the Olympus NFK 1.67 photo eyepiece, but I have yet to find one at an affordable price. In effect, substituting the digital sensor for the 35mm format is like using a higher magnification for the image. I do have the zoom lens ... Good deal for a steady shooter
Item was as described. I knew that the image stabilization was not working, but for the price and with the accessories this was a good deal. images are good and yes, no stabilization help. When I started using cameras 'IS' was not a thing and, yes, the blinking light is distracting but for the price I can ignore it.

HANDY DANDY
I bought this as a second for my camera bag - lets me use the old OM Zuiko lenses with adapters on a digital camera. I use these a lot and was glad to find a good used one. The shot of the BB was made with this used camera and a thirty year old OM macro lens.

Great camera if you know your limitations
For a 9 year old camera, it still functions great and take great videos and still.....YouTube this camera working in 2018 and 2019 and it works great.
