Known for her adventurous blends of Brazilian, European and electronic pop styles, Gilberto continues to blur musical boundaries while allowing the sensual rhythms of her native Brazil dominate the production courtesy of Carlinhos Brown, Didi Gutman (Brazilian Girls), Mark Ronson, Daniel Jobim and John King of the acclaimed Dust Brothers. The album includes a beautiful duet with Daniel Jobim, grandson of Antonio Carlos Jobim on "Bim Bom," a song first recorded by Gilberto's father Joco Gilberto, who, along with her mother singer Mizcha, continues to be a huge influence on her music. Other standouts include the Carmen Miranda classic "Chica Chica Boom Chic," "Sun is Shining" by Bob Marley and the personal and beautiful title track "All in One" by Gilberto along with Cesar Mendes.

    ANOTHER HIT FOR BEBEL!

    Nice hypnotically seductive recording by my favorite contemporary singer, Bebel Gilberto. However, the sound is fuzzy and the bass is distorted at the lower range, plus the balancing of sound overwelms Bebel's beautiful voice(She reminds me alot of SADE). There is no excuse for such imperfectons in recording, especially coming from a historic jazz label like Verve. DOES VERVE care about quiality anymore? Recording technicians from 60 years ago, using 60 year old technology could have done a better job. On a high note, Bebel is a beautiful singer, and the selection of cuts on this album could not be improved. Get it together VERVE!
