She mentioned that she would eat everything on her plate tomorrow. My kids wanted to read EVERY book in the box immediately! I gave them the opportunity to look through the titles and my son is looking forward to reading, "Lucas Tames the Anger Dragon." I am looking forward to the learn and discuss guide in the back! The learn and discuss guide includes information geared at gaining a deeper understanding of the topic and then also provides questions to discuss with your child. My daughter is most excited to read "Celebrate! The Way I'm Made." The books, some board books and some hard cover, are colorful and include characters of all races and ethnicities. They do a great job of representing the diversity of cultures, backgrounds, and appearances that we all experience. While at the same time embracing the many things that we share in common. I was impressed by the story lines and how they address topics significant to children and their parents, how they gently present opportunities for teaching and learning associated with each topic like meal time or bed time, how they naturally introduce to children things like special needs, adoption, ethnic diversity, and cultural differences and genuinely embrace the differences., Many authors and publishers include diversity in their books as if they're checking off a box to fulfill a requirement. Sophia Day does something extraordinary. She helps us realize that diversity in character, family composition, abilities, interests, and backgrounds is the norm not the exception.

The book was described as new but when it arrived it was damaged. The back pages were bent and curled. Thats a lot of money for a damaged book. I contacted the seller with photos and they responded with tracking information.
