The Big Book of Cigarette lighters
I like the pictures and the layout. It is a book of general information about lighters needed by those people who love lighters' collection.It is a very helpfull guide. Regarding the prices I do not know if they reflect the real situation of the e-market. I'd like to encourage the author on making a new book about a particular famous brand like RONSON or Dunhill since their beginning. An extensive search about pocket and table models. Another title could be Those unusual non branded lighters.I like the pictures and the layout. Want To Get Hooked, Buy this Book
My son collects lighters. I'd find lighters here & there & buy them not knowing what I was buying. I bought this book for him. It looks like it will be worn out before he gets it !! Now I'm hooked on looking for lighters !! Now I can tell an Evans from a Ronson just by looking at them. Now he even calls me to ask about a lighter he's found. This book will help people like me who couldn't tell a Bic from a Cricket. I never really understood his passion for lighters til I got this book.Now the lighters I get for him will be a complete surprise, not something I've called & asked him about. So far, so good, we're not outbidding each other on the same lighters !!!My son collects lighters. I'd find lighters here & there & buy them not knowing what I was buying. I bought this book for him. very good book, very informative and entertaining.
I wanted a book that would be informative about lighter collecting and this one fit the bill and I really enjoyed looking thru it and gaining more info than waht I had and will continue to learn what I can about this hobby that has really captured my attention.

I reevaluated the worth of some of my lighters.
I found this book very helpful with correct names and a price range to help work out the amount of lighters both yours and when interested in buying. The book contains different types of things like table lighters, novelty lighters, colourful photos they all fit in together to make a great book.

this book is great gives lots of photos on old vintage lighters and also not just prop pictures actual lighters some that are hard to find actually show wear so i would reccomend this book to any collector
