A great title for new and old Genesis owners alike
When I'm asked about the Sega Genesis, I always try to talk up this title. Why? Well, there are so many good reasons... It is a very easy, cheap, cart to find. It came as a pack-in in the final days of the Genesis and there is a huge supply of it on the used market. That means you're going to get some great games for only a couple bucks. This cart comes with the following games on it: Sonic the Hedgehog, Streets of Rage, Golden Axe, Revenge of Shinobi, Columns, and Super Hang-On Of the titles included, only Columns (which simply isn't very good) and Super Hang-on (which hasn't aged well at all) leave a little to be desired. Revenge of Shinobi is a hard game (and not as fun as Shinobi 3) but still enjoyable. The other three titles though: Sonic, Streets of Rage, and Golden Axe are ... It is a little frustrating that you can't access the Blue Sphere mini-game by attaching this cart to a Sonic and Knuckles cart in the same way that you can with a standalone Sonic 1 cart. However, if you are a fan of the blue speedster then this is probably a nonissue anyway, as you're still only paying a couple bucks for five other games (Seriously, who owns a Genesis but DOESN'T have Sonic?) I just bought a Genesis in May 2006 and haven't had much chance to tend to it, so my library is a little slim but this was one of the games I picked up with my system and I couldn't have been happier. It is a wonderful little cart to pick up if you're looking to bolster your library and well worth the price of admission even if you're only looking for two of the titles. It might possibly be one of the best compilation carts ever created. So, if you're thinking about picking it up, let me assure you that it is well worth it.

Every game on here is classic albeit a bit challenging which is excellent in a day and age where gameplay is becoming stale. Golden Axe and Streets of Rage are perfect arcade style two player games, columns is a surprisingly unique and competent puzzle game, Super Hang-On is a motorcycle game with style and the original Sonic the Hedgehog as well as Revenge of Shinobi are two challenging yet unique and rewarding platforming games that any fan of the genre owes giving a few tries; that plus each game here has fantastic orchestral scores and you can pick this one up for cheap even with packaging. There is one minor nuisance about the cartridge being that when the reset button is pressed, it restarts from the game selected and not the game selection menu but other than that, I highly ... Probably the best compilation cartridge out there.
Especially for back in it's day when it was released near the end of the genesis' life cycle, 6 pak contained the biggest games for the system for those who wanted to save money and get a great deal. My favorite of all of them is streets of rage which is the most memorable game I grew up with. Golden Axe, columns and streets of rage are all 1-2 players the rest are 1 player. Sonic 1 was great going back to as well and Shinobi was just a great 1 player experience. I've probably spent more time playing all the games on this with my newly purchased genesis model 2 than I have with any current generation game in a long time. 6 of the best on one cartridge
This cartridge contains 6 of the best-selling games on Genesis. It has the complete original versions of Sonic the Hedgehog 1, Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, Super Hang-On, Revenge of Shinobi and Columns. Each of these games are great by themselves, and should be in every Genesis game collection. Having them on one convenient cartridge is even better! I recently decided to get a used Genesis and enjoy the nostalgia of my youth. This cartridge was a great way to jump-start my collection. The only negative thing I can think of is that you have to reset the Genesis in order to choose a different game. But that's not so bad. If you don't already own all these games separately, and if you have a Genesis, then you must get this cartridge.This cartridge contains 6 of the best-selling games on Genesis.
