Product Information

The sequel to 2009's Need for Speed: Shift introduces a helmet camera view designed to re-create the experience of driving 200 miles per hour from the driver's vantage point. Also included are nighttime races, wear-and-tear on both cars and tracks, and a renewed emphasis on simulation-style handling and performance. The "autolog" system lets you share your racing milestones, such as pictures and videos, with friends online. You'll also receive in-game challenges based on your friends' top performances. Customize your vehicle's engine, body, suspension, and other parts to impress rivals and outgain the competition. The limited edition version of Shift 2, available exclusively via pre-order, includes three in-game cars that are instantly accessible from the start: the Lamborghini Murciélago LP640, Nissan Silvia spec.R Aero (S15), and Alfa Romeo Giulietta QV. An additional 40 career race events are included as well, from manufacturer showdowns to "old versus new" battles.

    Good game, but a OK gameplay

    Shift 2: Unleashed is for sure a good game. It has good graphics and an audio that will make you turn the volume of your TV up. The game is more like a simulator than an arcade race game, different from Hot Pursuit and The Run. It is fairly difficult on the beginning to get used to the stability of your car during the races, a fact that takes point out of the gameplay. For the current price, it is a good choice of game for players who are fascinated with racing games.

    Amazing racing experience! don't miss out

    A roller coaster on four tires. This game will scare you and excite you at the same time. If your looking for a RACING game this is the best one out there. This is not a SIM by any means, but you do have options to make it feel more realistic but not as many options as GT5, which is a relief. Customizing the look of your car is a nice touch, and upgrading your car from a old mans car to a full out Hellhound is very rewarding. Graphics are amazing, Not GT5 perfection but very close. I do have one complaint about this game, its not a easy game, which to some people is OK. But the handling in this game is a little touchy, when you have the handling to the Elite, aka no traction control, brake assist and pretty much stay on the track assist. The only way to really enjoy this game is to play on ...

    Cool game

    This is a really fun game. Good graphics and real like handling. I would recommend it to anyone who likes racing games.

    It is a good game, but the online mode there are few players unfortunately.

    I liked it very much, but I think that it would be better, because the online mode there are few players playing, and we can't play in split screen for 2 players in offline mode, so, we need to play online, but as I said, there are few players. Inside the car, I think they could do a better job, but I liked this game anyway. I recomend, but I prefer Gran Turismo 5

    very fun but could be better

    I bought this game thinking it would be better then need for speed shift 1. Cars where different missions where different. I dont really have anything to dislike about the game it has very clear and smooth game play. Need for speed hot pursuit is a thousand times better Game.
