Good game, worth the money but has some flaws.
I bought this game because I've always been a fan of the series. The game had a little bit of problems at first, but after I deleted and reinstalled the patches, it worked fine. The campaign isn't like previous Twisted Metal games. There are only 3 characters and you play each of their campaigns in a certain order. It goes Sweet Tooth, Mr. Grimm, then Doll Face. Each character goes through levels with certain twists like electric cages and juggernauts. Each character faces there own boss. I like the new features like snipers, alternate specials, and a helicopter. You can also do the campaign split-screen. The multiplayer is alright, but lags. I love the ability to customize each vehicle in game and on the Twisted Metal website. During all matches, music from the soundtrack will play ... Some songs are great like Rob Zombie and Avenged Sevenfold, while others are terrible. I think you can import your own music into the game, but i haven't tried to. The maps are pretty big, with the thrills and spills theme park being the largest. The size prevents spawn trapping and allows you take breaks or find weapons. There are 17 playable vehicles and 3 bosses. The vehicles are well balanced but some are better than others. This was solved by making the powerful vehicles locked until you achieve certain XP. The story has no mention of previous games existing and makes it seem that this is a new start to the series. Not the best game ever, but a decent one that was worth the money. It is very hard on most difficulties and the trophies are not easy to obtain. Overall a good game that just needs some patches.

Really good game, haven't finished it yet but it seems to be quite long. If you're a twisted metal fan from back in the PSX days then you'll enjoy!
I've always been a big fan of twisted metal my favorite was by far twisted metal 2. That's a pretty hard game to get your hands on these days at least if you're looking to buy one at a used game store and it's going up in price. this game on the other hand is cheap has great graphics comparatively and longer gameplay, some of the levels have different objectives than just killing all the other vehicles. But that doesn't hurt the game in my opinion though it does make it a little bit different from the nostalgic twisted metal 1 2 3 4 and Black. Give it a try and the best thing is it is two player so you can still have fun playing this game with your friends. I would definitely recommend this game to anybody who is a fan of the twisted metal games, with this I almost have the full ... This game used to be great. I am now playing it again and IMHO this version is super hectic. Its more of a point and shoot with little strategy or really even tactics. Game play is so fast and chaotic that it is not really all that fun. Just a shoot em' up almost.

Original Vehicular Combat video game, this game has most beautiful graphics conpared to other games in this franchise, good experience, crushing you opponent and beat the levels. This game atill cool in present year.

Great game to pick up, if you are in the mood for exploding opponent cars
Great story mode, although it was short, it has a replay value that you can play over if not the multiplayer mode that has several options where you can choose to go other opponents in a team deathmatch setting along with other game modes. I was thrilled when I first got this game. I have to admit though that the controllers at first were very confusing. I suggest for anyone, who are new to playing this game, to go over the training section under story mode. It helps a lot if you want to know how to play this game without much confusion. I also recommend anyone to rent it out first if you are having doubts about this game. The multiplayer match making I was a bit disappointed about. The host needed to start the game in order for the multiplayer match to start, and there is no way of ... I was a bit disappointed with that part and it can be hard to find a decent match that will start. Many hosts are not paying attention to the party numbers and will not start the match even when there's a lot of people. It has its flaws but it is definitely worth a check. Heads up though, there will be bosses there that will be hard to beat and will take up a lot of retries to get it right. Nevertheless, the game is awesome and has a lot to offer. Give it a try. :-)
