Good job Nick!
I have, in the past, had occasion to borrow both of Nick's previous books on old gunsights and scopes, and I feel that the author has done a very good job of building upon information from these previous volumes. There is a lot more detail and information in this combined volume that is easily seen, as I have only given it a brief perusal. The particular volume I bought has some problems in the trim, a cut in the back cover, and a bent corner. These are cosmetic flaws however, and I am more concerned with the information within. I mention them only because I work at a book factory and they'd have relegated my particular copy to the scrap pile! Though as mentioned, my perusal has been brief, I can readily see that Nick has indeed put some work into the book and it isn't just a reprint ... Lots of info on old firearms and their sights
Great reference guide on what sights were on guns when they came from the factory. Especially useful if you are returning a firearm to original condition. Use it all the time, great layout, easy to use, "the" book to go to.
