EA's ever expanding Medal of Honor series gets its second shot at the Wii in Medal of Honor: Heroes 2. This time players step into the boots of Office of Strategic Services operative John Berg as he heads behind enemy lines during the height of the Allied invasion of Normandy. As always, the game mixes elements of infiltration, reconnaissance, and sabotage with a heavy dose of frenzied WWII combat. Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 features a number of actions that make use of the Wii Remote (throwing a grenade, firing a bazooka, pumping a shotgun, etc.) and the game is fully compatible with the Wii Blaster peripheral. In addition to the regular campaign, the game features an Arcade mode that functions as something of a rail-shooter, letting players concentrate solely on aiming and shooting, and, for the first time on Wii, a 32-player online mode is available. The multiplayer mode features six different maps where gamers can take aim in deathmatch, team deathmatch, and infiltration (capture the flag) modes.

Great Online, Good Storyline
Medal of Honor has always been a great series of video games for all consoles. Though the Nintendo Wii's controls throw you aloof, grasping the controls is not difficult and the game starts with a sort of "training" period where it shows and explains all uses of the WiiMote and Nunchuck. The storyline of the game is good, though short. The levels aren't terribly long and there aren't that many levels. There are three different levels of difficulty, and that makes the game interesting as you work your way through the levels with more, stronger enemies. The enemy and team AI is a little off, sometimes enough to annoy the player when the enemy will run past you, stop and then turn around and shoot you. The AI isn't necessarily adaptive to you the player, but set to move to certain areas as ... Medal of Honor has always been a great series of video games for all consoles. After dying on the same level a few times, you'll realize exactly where the enemies will be and how to proceed through the level. The online game play is really good for a Wii game. Most shooters in general do not come with the same ability to manipulate the controls as MoH: Heroes 2 does. You can adjust how fast your player moves based on your movement of the Wiimote, as well as how far off the screen you can go without the game telling you to "Aim the WiiMote at the screen." This is very helpful as when trying to turn around quickly in multiplayer battle can be done quickly when the controls are adjusted properly. Multiplayer games can contain up to 32 people and through my gaming I experienced very little lag, noticeable when players left in the middle of a game. At all times I've been online there are multiple games to play, as well as the ability for you to host a game yourself, controlling what weapons can be used, what levels you play on, how many players max, friendly fire, ranked games, etc. The online portion of the game is controlled by EA Nation (EA makes the game), EA's online interface. This eliminates Nintendo Friend Codes, and allows you to send messages to other players that you have played with, or friends you may have online. You can also keep a buddy list of recent players or players that you like to play with again. It will tell you whether they are online or in a game currently. It will only tell you what game they are in if the game was produced by EA as it will only list a game they are "online" in because of EA Nation. All in all, this is a great game for the Wii, as it demonstrates how successful the Wiimote can be for a shooter style video game, and also how successful the online multiplayer can be for a Wii game, again specifically a Shooter style game.

Wii Want Honor 2
I was looking for a good first person shooter so me and my friends can say, hey we might not have Halo, but we have the next best thing. I played the single player mode and it is awesome. the graphics of the game don't compare to anything like the PS3, but the controls are awesome. its hard to explain, but the wii remote makes you do special things like pumping your shoot gun or something like that in which makes you feel apart. however, i was disappointed when i found out that only one person can use the wii in multi player. even though you can have 32 players in one game, that also means there are 32 wiis in on it too. so i was sad that my friends can play with me until they all gets wiis. anyway i give this game a 4/5 for game play!I was looking for a good first person shooter so me and my friends can say, hey we might not have Halo, but we have the next best thing. Ever want a game that not only allows you too shot like a real solider? Or the historical era of WW2 that brought a corrupt ideal to an end in the East? Well he is a game for you. I have always been a Nintendo fan, i grew up on Nes at my friends house, and lived off of our SNES for years to come, and still do. And before all those call of duty games, were Medal of Honor Games, typically for PC or Gamecube/Playstation/Xbox consoles. This game relives that with the wii remote to aim at foes. All in all, it's a typically WW2 shooter game, but add AI and a 32 WIFI multiplayer shoot em up action...than this game is for you. Medal of honor was always a tad different than other WW2 games, mainly the courage and gritty warfare of the veterans who remain to live on today, with historical plots and ... Best FPS on the Wii (Metroid doesn't count).
Medal of Honor Heroes 2 is the best first-person-shooter on the Wii. If you think that this is a high compliment, it isn't. MOHH2 isn't a fantastic game, it is just that it's competition is an absolute joke. Because of this, I can tell you right now, that if you want a FPS on the Wii, get MOHH2. If you're still undecided (and rightly so) read on. To begin with, while the game may be lackluster, the aiming is spot on. Every aspect of aiming is customizable, which means that if you spend a little bit of time tweaking the game, you will reap the rewards in the form of unbelievable accuracy in your running and gunning. The rest of the controls hold up reasonably well on the Wii, save for weapon switching. The actual task of switching weapons is fine, however, this game chooses to allow you to ... Which is really too bad, simply because by the time you cycle through your weapons (two of 'em at a time) aim and throw your grenade, you are dead. Or at least injured . Either way, it's a pain, and I much rather would have had the grenades mapped to the 'C' button, which is used for some stupid purpose such as fixing the screed straight ahead so n00bs can shoot. If you've EVER played a FPS, you'll find it useless too. The actual campaign is pretty forgettable. You are some elite OSS agent, sent over enemy lines to do something to some V-2 rocket-nuclear testing junk with Nazis. Like I said. Forgettable. Now, maybe Call of Duty has caused me to expect some amount of realism in my WWII games, but I believe that they should be handled with respect, and with as much accuracy and realism as possible. MOHH2 spits in the face of that. You have eight missions (yeah...just eight. Enjoy 'em) that consist of you shooting Nazis. Go to some place, shoot Nazis. Receive a secret radio transmission (on a Nazi radio. Huh?) and go shoot more Nazis. I'm sure there were individual objectives, but nothing memorable. Also, every mission is also playable as a on-rails shooting level. Cool. On a shallower note, MOHH2 actually looks good. Not 360/PS3 good, by any means, but your character model, the guns, and the scenery look good. Unfortunately, once you look a bit closer, you'll see that the developers had to cut some serious corners to make the game look like that. Mainly, shot enemies fade after ½ of a SECOND. Now, this doesn't bother me. Who cares about dead bodies anyway? My problem is with their weapons and ammunition disappearing along with or soon after they do. Most of the time, I can't pick up an enemies weapon simply because it is gone right after I kill him. This alone can, at points, break the game. I've also commonly experienced dropping a weapon, having second thoughts, and going to pick it back up, not having traveled more than five feet from where I dropped it, and finding that it is gone. Just disappeared. Frustrating, to say the least. Online can be fun, and the game supports up to 32 players with no lag. Pretty sweet. Downside? Only six maps, and Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and CTF. CTF only has two maps. Limited, to say the least. Also, you can only have one interchangeable weapon, and your pistol. So, you can't have a shotgun and a sniper rifle together, like you can in the campaign. I don't know why. Overall, while the game controls great, the rest of it doesn't measure up. I paid $40 for this, and I feel that it is worth $25, tops. Only halfway recommended.

Good shooter for Wii
Just recieved this game for Christmas and it is the first "shooter" I have played on wii. The controls take some getting used to, it can get a little frustrating till you get the hang of it. I have played through several levels on arcade mode and several on campaign on the easiest setting so far. Arcade is not a challenge at all and you are very limited in the control you have. Campaign can be pretty challenging as there are no health packs available,(as in arcade mode), you must find cover to heal. The graphics and gameplay are decent, as long as you are not expecting to much. They are definately a step,(or two), back after playing COD 4 on PS3 and other newer shooters on 360.
