With the BBC only allowing two hours of rock and roll to be played on its airwaves per week, a pirate radio station aboard a North Sea-cruising yacht broadcasts music to the pop-starved masses, turning its seafaring disc jockeys into overnight superstars.<BR><BR><BR>Taking the infamous Radio Caroline as inspiration, THE BOAT THAT ROCKED is an hilarious feel-good romp in the tradition of Curtis' best-loved work and benefits from a knockout soundtrack featuring some of the most memorable tracks of the time.

    An enjoyable family film with great music!

    A highly enjoyable film that will fill you with pride in the modern British film industry and remind you how brill sixties music was, and still is! A great rainy day filler all the family can enjoy.

    Worth a night in, even if it's only for the music!

    Good fun, not an Oscar winner but easy to watch, especially if you lived in the 'swinging sixties' - good memories with the music!

    great film good value for money

    great DVD loved it. it made me laugh, the 60s music was great to listen to.couldnt take my eyes off it. glad i bought it.
