Better said The Complete Book of Emigrants to Virginia
I have some ancestors who lived in Virginia and wanted to see if they were listed in this book. Those particular ones are not listed, but I still don't regret buying the book as it gives an interesting background of these imigrants to Virginia in regard to the whys and wherefores of this immigration that was well presented and a very interesting read. It presented facts I did not know before, told what records were available and which ones were covered in the volume in a clear, concise and yet empathetic way that did not put me to sleep. The records are indexed by last name, first name, which makes finding ancestors simple. The transcription of the records and source references are easily understood and give quite a bit of information. Later I may find other ancestors who are in the ... I have some ancestors who lived in Virginia and wanted to see if they were listed in this book. Most of these emigrants are from England, so I would recommend the book for those who have English emigrant ancestors who seem to have arrived in the U.S. between 1607-1660, but who can't be found on the regular ships passenger lists online. If you know they went to Virginia and it's not found in this book, chances are the records were destroyed and you won't find them anywhere else.

Excellent Geneology Tool
This book has a wealth of information. It is indexed and very easy to use. I found information on ancestors who lived in the 1600s, including the ships they came to this country on. Excellent source for anyone exploring his or her geneology. Thank you.
