Set in the 19th century, DR. QUINN, MEDICINE WOMAN involves the turbulent life of a doctor who makes a new life for herself in the wilds of the Colorado Springs. Michela "Mike" Quinn (Jane Seymour) is the doctor in question, who leaves the safe surroundings of Boston in order to bring more advanced medical practices to a brand new frontier. The action centers around her life, her family, and the people she treats in the local town. She chooses to raise three children after their mother passes away from a fatal rattlesnake bite, which perfectly illustrates her kind nature and willingness to help others. This release presents season five of the show in its entirety, with 26 episodes included. Having won five Emmy awards, the show has firmly established a place for itself in the televisual history books, and devoted fans of the series are sure to be delighted at this chance to own further installments of this gripping period drama.

Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman DVD Set 2005 Season 5-Complete
This is my favorite season of Dr. Quinn. I have always been a fan of the show. In this season, the characters become more developed. Previous season had Dr. Mike give birth, now her little girl is growing. Colleen is off to college and comes home on the train periodically. There's a new doctor that works with Dr. Mike until he chooses to work at a new hotal. Colleen & he begin a relationship. Some old wounds are healed between certain town folk. Dorothy begins a friendship with Cloud Dancing and writes a book about his people & customs. The Reverand has a true test of faith at Christmastime and we get to hear Grace sing a Christmas hymn. Sully faces new challenges as it gets harder for him to stand up to the injustices he used to fight so hard for. Matthew makes a great sheriff but is ... This is my favorite season of Dr. Quinn. There is still plenty of action, humor, romance and historical facts to make it the best season yet.

An Oldie but a Goodie
I've loved the Dr. Quinn series since it originally aired...it's an oldie but a goodie. My fiance and I had found seasons 1-4 at a local 2nd and Charles store, but we couldn't find the full set/remaining 2 seasons (or movies). We checked Amazon and their prices were rather outrageous. Then, we decided to check ebay and we found much better deals. We are extremely satisfied with our purchase and have been enjoying Season Five of Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman. I've loved the Dr. Quinn series since it originally aired...it's an oldie but a goodie. If your family loves westerns this is a great family series. Not as wholesome as "Little House", but not too adult either. Its wonderful. The casting is just amazing. It's so real life between Dr. Quinn and Sully. What charisma. My 10 year started this series 1 year ago. She loves it, had a "Dr. Quinn" bday party last year. LOL Would highly recommend if you are a western lover.

One of the greatest of all time family shows. I wish there were a 100 more. The cast was so like a real God loving family respecting each others individuality. One of my best fellings is; I wish I could have personally met each star. It was so close to my growing up it shook me at times. The only thing I didn't like were the few off color words. I never got to see half of the programs because of work, ministry and volenteer work. Thanks for this opportunity, Eld. N. W. GrantOne of the greatest of all time family shows.
