Not a good clone of the factory mag.
My pistol is Ceracoated from factory in Burnt Bronze. The mags would not even go into the magwell without taking off a lot of metal. The mag release slot had to be elongated so it would release better. The feed lips were so narrow that it was difficult to load and kind of sharp. After about an hour of using a quality file, sanding, and touching up the blueing, I had 4 useable mags. I found some for $37 at Tombstonetactical that are factory and well worth the $$. That being said I contacted ProMags and they apologized and sent me some gratuity gifts for my trouble. That was cool!My pistol is Ceracoated from factory in Burnt Bronze. Looks Awesome
Dont judge a book by its cover. This thing looks great but im having some of the same problems as everyone is mentioning. It doesn't slide in & out freely. It seems to get hung up and needs a wiggle. Once its engaged in the gun they dont feed well. Must be the lips or rim of the magazine is too tight. The rounds get caught before entering the chamber. I tried to save some money but this is a waste. Spend the extra money & get the real deal. I just put an order in for a factory mag. Dont judge a book by its cover. Mag does not work
I have tried every way possible without destroying my firearm to make this mag work. It just doesn't fit the gun. Bought oem factory magazine and it works fine. Don't try to save money with this mag.

Magazine spring consistently fails to push rounds
The magazine itself seems to be built fairly well however, the spring absolutely will not stay in it's channel resulting in rounds not getting engaged by the bolt in order to load. I don't have a speed loader so I'm only putting in a maximum of 4 rounds... and it can't handle that before the spring goes sideways in the magazine. I don't know if I just got a bad one or if this is "how it is" with this product. Absolute garbage!
I bought a couple of these for my new Desert Eagle, Mark XIX. Said pistol runs great with factory magazines. Both of these ProMags wouldn't even feed a single round. As it would not go into battery, even with trying to hand cycle through them. I messed with them for a while and finally gave up. These are trash. Save your time and money and just buy OEMs.
