Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Island Thunder for Xbox is a standalone campaign that expands on the original Eastern Europe-based shooter by offering a number of episodes previously available to PC owners. In addition to the eight-mission solo campaign set in Cuba, the same campaign found on the PC expansion disc, this Xbox game also includes 12 multiplayer maps from Ghost Recon: Desert Siege as well as the first Ghost Recon to immerse players into desert, city, and jungle environments. As in the previous release, Xbox owners are free to challenge one another via Xbox Live with support for voice communication. Additional content in the form of new missions and maps will also be available on an ongoing basis.

Its a very short game.
This is a one day and done with the missions game in cuba. It only has 9 levels of missions. It took me about two hours to blow through them. There is however lots to unlock. you will have to play the single missions in all three difficulty levels to unlock everything, includeing a cool bonus that you will have to get on your own. graphics are sharp in this, game play is great. You add to team member stats and gain medals as you progress. your goal is making General.But commanding you team members and other team is a little tricky, Nothing like the newer titles. This is one of the first clancey titles and had lots of room for improvement. This would be a excellent game for someone new to combat sims. You can make a solid weekend out of this doing all the missions, all the side missions, and all the difficult levels, this would cut into sleep time. Its worth having in your collection. I have had mine since the release date and still break it out from time to time. This is a good game, worth having. If it had more missions I would have givin it a excellent rateing. You can get a expansion disc that will add 4 more missions to the game. but these missions can only be played in single mission mode.

Island thunder Classic must have game
Great game this game is fun even now many years later . This is a classic. Graphics are good for the era it was made and the game play is complicated but easy to pick up. You have unlimited game play ability missions that keep you playing . Never a dull moment. Classic first person shooter allows you to control squads and challenges the player to think quickly not just a shooter but a strategy game as well you move up the ranks like a real soldier. I give a 4 out of 5 because it is not the for the second generation x box but still a fun game that changes evry time you playGreat game this game is fun even now many years later . This game is good and it is full of entertainment.
The thing that I like about the game is that there is a demo or training session on the game before you play. The graphics are good and the enemy seem realistic when they are shot. Once you get the hang of the Controller, the game is fun, and the missions are tough. I decided to purchase this game, because I seemed to be an interesting game when I was looking for X-Box games.
