Great Video
I watched this movie with my 2 grand daughters, ages 5 & 7. We loved it! Every time they come to our house they want to see it again. It's a sweet movie about a young girl, Samantha, who has a compassionate heart toward others. Three little girls who were mourning the death of their mother and had just moved next door to be houseworkers. Shortly after they ended up in a children's home that wasnt a pleasant place. Samantha did all she could to help them. The story keeps your interest, the setting, scenery and clothing are delightful. And the best part is how the story ends and that a little girl helped to accomplish such wonderful things for others less fortunate. Samantha: An American Girl Holiday
This movie was wonderful. A truly heart warming story. My favorite part is the storyline surrrounding 'Samantha'. She is a very loving young girl that follows her heart and sneaks her small friends out of an orpahnage after the passing of their father. Her friend becomes ill and she must confess the fact that she has them hiding upstairs. This has a very happy ending! I bought this for my daughter because she so enjoyed the American Girl movie Felicity and I thought this one would be enjoyed as well. I have truly been suprised how much these were enjoyed by the whole family and not just my daughters! I was a little apprehensive when I bought this movie because I had not seen any of the American Girl movies, but when I watched it, I was thrilled! This is a great story of a young girl's determination to help others less fortunate than she. Her love and resolve to reach out and right the wrongs of the world of her time was unsurpassed. If we all believed the way Samantha did, the world would be a better place indeed! I cried through the end of this movie, but they were tears of joy! If the rest of the American Girl movies are this good, I can't wait to see them...I was a little apprehensive when I bought this movie because I had not seen any of the American Girl movies, but when I watched it, I was thrilled! Good Story With Family In Mind
We never can have enough of good family stories in the current pace of times. This is another one that a family with values as a priority to include in their collection. It is complimentable to The American Girl story of Felicity for one's children. Have them both in your collection for viewing over & over again. Pat C/Colorado

My girls fell in love with American Girl. I as so amazed when we watched the movies and the characters were wonderful people, full of character and integrity. You really have to look hard for such movies now a days and they really have hit the nail on the head. WOnderful movie, Wonderful.
