Give it some force if not charging problem
Great tool and value with a light I mean feather light compared to my 18 volt DeWalt drill I've had for many years. Came with a great carry bag and two batteries which is so much better for my needs as home do it yourself kinda guy. Who loves his power tools . The charger was not working and it seemed hopeless until rerview I read had claimed to force the battery's pack onto charger . That sounds very wrong to me as I used to hit my TV when signals would get fuzzy as a youth we all know how that works . I had almost orders a replacement when to my shock it worked abd it has been fine since then . I recommend this to anyone who needs a great tool and value . Amazing power and battery life! Great quality and compact size. Love it!
This little impact driver is fantastic. It is compact and very powerful (79 ft lbs torque). I bought as a companion to my DeWalt 3/8" 12-max drill. I recently built a large shelving unit of 2x4s in my basement. This little driver drove 70+ #10x3" screws on one battery charge. Believe me, you won't need anything larger than this little 12 volt driver. It is very handy because you can carry right on your tool belt while working. It's nice too because it came with two batteries, which by the way can be shared with the drill. The batteries charge in about 30 minutes so you will never run out of power. The lithium-ion batteries last much longer and charge much quicker than the old Ni-Cad. I love these DeWalt tools and highly recommend them to anyone. I have had several ... Best Impact Driver Ever
Works out of the box, has enough power for most jobs but, not too much power to break what you are driving, with care this tool will last a long time. Unless someone steals it! Like my last driver.

Can't get a better impact for the size and price!
Have worked with power tools professionally all my life and having advanced arthritis in my hands, was looking for the best impact driver for size, handling and money-this Dewalt fits perfectly. The weight and size is extremely good, power more than adequate for a 12 volt and the lighting at the tip is superb; the best feature being the ability to EASILY remove the battery with my arthritic hands. This was the only impact driver I found that didn't have two points to squeeze to remove the battery-one thumb flick and the spring release does the rest. A must have for any handy man!
Professional or not....anyone who drives screws on a regular basis needs this thing! Forget using a cordless drill! Typical DeWalt quality....a lot of power for the size...and speaking of size....I am surprised how small it is and how much power it has! I love it!
